TFW Todd Howard dream of attempting to make Bethesda the worst video games company was crushed by Action Blizzard and they did that with far less effort
Wait a minute there, friend! Bethesda still has a few tricks up their sleeve when it comes to acts of massive faggotry.

Fallout76 Map Maker gets banned.
He claims he tested and reported an exploit to the devs then his account was blocked.
This isn't just joe schome. it's someone who has taken a ton of time to create tools for this game as well as report bugs to the devs.

It's so very simple; Bethesda does not want people to play their game.

There's literally no reason to go out of your way to make this game better.

Even pinging their in-game online traffic is support that is unwarranted.

Seriously you had to have other games to play before getting fo76.

Bethesda's dumb. Why would you ban bug testers that are paying you?

They have probably been on edge regarding exploits ever since the F76 players managed to glitch their way into the dev room and steal infinite copies of all those rare items in order to crash the in-game economy and PvP meta

Which naturally means you should permaban any player trying to help you find them and then refuse to fix them.

I've seen some speculation that this ridiculous nonsense is a way for Beth to shift the news cycle towards them and away from The Outer Worlds since they don't have a new release to distract everyone.

Maybe, or maybe Bethesda wants to sink the Fallout franchise for good since Obsidian made New Vegas, which is the best entry in the entire series in the eyes of most Fallout fans. The fact that this happened so close to the release of The Outer Worlds might be a coincidence, but it's still eerie as fuck.

@Secret Asshole and I share the opinion that Bethesda doesn't want Fallout 76 to succeed and they're probably running the game as cheaply as possible so they can still make a profit despite the game's universally negative reception. They're doing it either as a tax write-off or as some sort of "Springtime for Hitler" ploy

My best guess is that Fallout 76 is meant to be the "New Coke" to Elder Scrolls VI's "Coca-Cola Classic".

Even if TES VI is just a mediocre rehash of Skyrim with slightly better graphics and on a Ninth Generation console, it would sell well due to brand recognition and because Bethesda can market it by having a mediocre game look awesome in comparison to the unmitigated disaster that is Fallout 76.

It's possible that Todd Howard is trying to kill the Fallout franchise so he can solely focus on The Elder Scrolls and other new IP's. Fallout sort of become the second flagship for Bethesda after Fallout 3 and the game went from an obscure cult classic to a massive household name AAA franchise.

Ten years later, Bethesda seems to be going out of its way to destroy Fallout with Fallout 76.

Why the fuck would you let Bethesda know about a bug? If I had a bunch of bugs for this shit I'd give them to the nastiest malware designers I could find because fuck Bethesda.

the NCR Ranger armor being in this game is only further proof of the legion's superiority
I imagine you're still kind of pissed like half of the Legion's content was cut because Bethesda purposely rushed Obsidian to make sure they couldn't make a second game.

For some reason there are still thousands of absolute cucks who slavishly devote themselves to current product and eagerly waits to consume next product.

Seriously, keep griefing these faggots, they deserve it for backing shitty business purely out of brand loyalty.

Yeah that's retarded but does it really tops Blizzard bending the knee and sucking up to China while it is oppressing Hong Kong/ minorities, causing humanitarian crisies and doing all sorts of atrocities? I think Bethesda is shit but it's still got a way to go to be the absolute worse

If they don't want anything to do with Fallout, why don't they just sell the IP? Or better yet, license the IP? Obsidian said they wouldn't be aganist doing another Fallout, and Zenimax can collect a tidy chunk of change while Obsdian does all the work and takes all the risk. And while Todd and Pete might be salty about Obsidian making a better game than them, they're not the ones calling the shots. Do you think the Robert Altman's and Robert Trump's of Zenimax Media really give a shit that the fans liked NV more? All they care about is their dividend check being bigger than the previous quarter! Ray Kroc didn't make all his money selling hamburgers; he made it licensing franchises!

God damn, Bugthesda can't even make money right!

Christ, every time this thread updates I click with morbid curiosity and am never disappointed. Just how many gypsies did Bethesda piss off to have absolutely everything go wrong like this?

Bethesda has always been a dysfunctional company.

Creating a MMORPG where you need to manage a bureaucracy wasn't a good idea.

Even with their set-it-and-forget-it single player games they were fucking up.

Doesn't matter if the products in the meantime suck five pozzed asses, the fallout IP has brand recognition. That's leverage that won't be given up easily or at all.

Skyrim 2 won’t even be that good you guys it’s gonna be so watered down and streamlined and you fucking know it.
After doing dragonshouts and dragons in TES5 how are they going to replicate that? Unless it's a 1 to 1 story copy, I don't think it's going to catch the lightning in the bottle that TES5 did.
