I understand there being some sex mods for these games, as immersion breaking as they'd be. But the weird thing to me is how many separate mods there are for doing the exact same things. I know I've scrolled past at least a dozen different boob mods for Fallout 4, and going by the thumbnails it's not like they even had dramatically different approaches on how to do such a thing. You figure they'd ease up after two or three and people would just pick the one they like most, but it looked like people kept trying to do new ones from scratch for some reason

Am I the only one that thinks The Master was the best Fallout villain from the whole series? That that this discredits the other ones, he just was the most impactful to me.
TBF there's really only two worthy big villains in Fallout.
3 & 4 are laughably mediocre and New Vegas isn't spared either. The legion, despite Caesar being an interesting character, are still boring 1 dimensional villains. And even if you side with them and turn the NCR into your main adversaries, there isn't enough legion content to make the worst of the NCR's flaws stand out.
Thus, it's either The Master or the original Enclave.
One of the reasons Fallout 4 is so frustrating is that you can see the awesome game it could have been if they hadn't switched to a voiced protagonist, wasted so much time on base building
- I like voiced characters, but understand why it's not optimal.
- I liked the base building too, and in fact believe there's more potential to it than Beth released, as evidenced by what mods like Sim Settlements can do. Base building and basically rebuilding the commonwealth effectively with agriculture and free trade that mattered would've made for an interesting pacifist story path or at least a proper Minutemen path. Instead of being a hitman for hire for every faction, expanding the settlement building could have you become a savior of the wastes who uses his brain and wit to save the commonwealth, or succumbs to his success and greed and turns the settlements into an empire that works for you and lives to carry out your will, AKA you can become Caesar 2.0. There was more to this than just a poor man's Minecraft, but Beth seemingly can never pull off the full scope of their ideas.
However, I do agree that it's existence should not be at the cost of story-telling, a great script, and adding significance to dungeons rather than just adding them for the sake of just adding them. Though so long as Beth continues to employ Emil, there will never be a good script/story no matter what they add/do elsewhere.

I think the voiced protag could've worked well enough if they went all in on the Bioware approach, that clearly was the inspiration for trying this direction. The problem is that they tried to have their cake and eat it too, Commander Shepherd isn't an amazing character but at least there's SOMETHING engaging there.
