Fallout series

There’s a lesson in that. Tell me, Courier, have you ever heard of “Sneed’s Feed and Seed”?

It’s an Old World legend. A small store, in the dusty, rural country. A wooden sign stands above it reading, “Sneed’s Feed and Seed. Formerly Chuck’s”. There’s a subtle joke in there. Sneed. Feed. Seed. There’s a pattern, like the tracks of a Brahmin herd, young following the old.

Replace Sneed’s with Chuck’s. Take the three letters: U, C, K. Put them in place of the -eed in Feed and Seed. Do you see it now, Courier?
I can't sneed

Last month I finished my first complete playthrough of New Vegas, I never played Lonesome Road before so all the hype about Ulysses being this super cool charismatic guy definitely raised my hopes up and in the end I was a bit disappointed, but I can't say I didn't like him, yes, he's written in the most pretentious fucking way, regardless of dialog option that you choose he just dumps paragraphs of text upon you, still, I couldn't bring myself to dislike the guy, because if you take a step back you can only see a poor sob who would constantly face off with people obsessed with the past, unable to let go and create something completely new and when finally he actually finds this fresh new beginning that he dreamed about fate takes a fat dump and takes it away from him in the most brutal way possible. I can't stomach talking to Ulysses and listening to his nihilism, which comes straight out of XIX century literature, but after listening to all his interaction with characters from other DLCs and his personal recordings I can only feel sorry for him, sparing him and having us fight off in a gauntlet, two legendary couriers versus the marked men feels like the right thing to do (who are honestly my favorite enemies in the whole game, from conceptual point of view, disillusioned soldiers who would forget their past grievances and unite against anything within the divide out of collective shock of what happened to all of them), if in a few years my exhaustion from playing New Vegas wears off I'm gonna replay Lonesome Road and smoke both the Bull and the Bear just for his sake.

Also Dead Money is fucking garbage, three hours of absolute boredom, with idiotic gimmicks that are only there to slow you down and enemies that don't pose a threat even on very hard difficulty, murdering that moron Elijah, abusing the game engine and escaping with 566k caps worth of gold is the only satisfying thing, not because I needed the money but to spit in face of the narrative of letting things go.

Everyone is using history without knowing it, and so the meaning of history is lost. Like seeing Christ on the Cross and believing that it represents punishment and not sacrifice and then crucifying criminals in the name of Jesus.
I think this is the best quality of Ulysses because that's just stealthily shitting on Bethesda for completely misunderstanding what Fallout is about.
As in, retrofuturistic vision of building society from the rubble.
Meanwhile Bethesda just wants a retro-themed shooting gallery in the rubble

Who was it that worked on New Vegas that said their ideal outcome for the Mojave was for the Cloud and the Tunnelers to make their way into the area and set it back to the stone age, essentially? I know I'm not makin this shit up, because it's too retarded.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Chris Avellone.

EDIT: Damn someone beat me to assuming it was Chris.

At the end of the day, you're just a smoothskin with a smoothskin faggot son. And where's the respect in that? Where's the respect in that?! One day they'll find him face down in the wastes with a back full of lead and an ass full of cum. The story of a smoothskin faggot and his smoothskin faggot son.

I had to look this up, apparently Walton Goggins is in this? Is he the ghoul? If he is I am sold, feed me this bethesda slop amazon.
