It won't be mostly set in games for long after the success of the Fallout series. Microsoft will more likely turn to multimedia to make money out of Fallout because Bethesda is so bad at handling their own IP's.

Only a couple scenes in the 2005 movie with The Rock sorta tried emulating the first person camerawork, but again, it was only a couple scenes in an almost 90 minute movie, and this is the only time we actually get to see that. Never appeared in Annihilation and will never appear in the upcoming Peacock show (unless if I'm wrong). This is why vidya adaptations (with a few exceptions) are fucking awful
And that part, is the only thing worth in the movie.

It's just not enough. For my rule of thumb, when you make a movie about Doom, you should only use the FPS aesthetic as the entire movie with the ability to kill demons. A whole movie where the entire 90 minutes is a POV shot of the protagonist fighting demonic aliens in a hellish Mars would've been perfect, but industry writers and directors only want a generic sci-fi/horror movie that tried to emulate the John Carpenter style
