i did not mind Arcade. he was rather inoffensive and boring (just the way he described himself) but i did like his character arc and how you help him decided what he wants to do with himself (or you could just be a dick and sell him into slavery lol).

the part were he gives you his fathers power armour was rather touching.

as for my own personal favourite companion, its Raul and ED-E.

Do the Enclave character one. You can put some Enclave-themed mods to your save to get more flavor in your save as one. It sounds pretty fun.

You can get into the Enclave Remnants mission at first to get training with the power armor as well.

Boone is the best written companion of his game and his quest is really in depth but goddamn does he trivialize the combat. Nowadays I only use him if I'm already doing an NCR run, and even then I go back and forth between him and Cass

Honestly probably for the best. Avellone has his problems, but he is probably still the best writer currently working in the industry. Seems like yet another fag who was upset he couldn't shove any old stupid bullshit into the setting.

It isn't modern faggotry. I understand where you are coming from and do agree that the presence of faggots introduced faggotry to the IP, but 2010 was a very different time. The way those themes are portrayed in New Vegas are very different, primordial, compared to what those same themes would become now.

They get a thrill out of bastardizing things not made by them. The fun of ruining Tolkien or Lovecraft and inserting niggers or faggots or other filth. Then they'll post outrage bait with things like "Fallout is queer friendly and you need to accept it" or "There were black elves in Middle Earth and bigots are losing their fragile little minds". "Snowflakes are triggered that Game of Thrones is inclusive". "Fallout has always been primarily a trans series".

They know that people will get angry over this which is the entire point. They just love the attention and getting underneath peoples' skins.

I would love giving Raul the Armor of the 87th since it fits his backstory... except he constantly complains about his joints while wearing it since its heavy armor.

But yeah, if I had to pick one companion to travel with it would be Boone. Great backstory, great perk, especially with ED-E for long-range spotting.
