Depends on the game and developer. Thankfully Bethesda is modder friendly and Fallout/TES have pretty accessible modding tools. its easy to learn but hard to master.

I know, it's kinda mystifying. But that's just how safe these guys felt with the Dems in charge. They just happened to be "undocumented", so they'd sort that out whenever they felt like getting around to it. Like fixing that broken indicator bulb on your car. They didn't consider themselves literal criminals that could be deported at any time.

Why they keep making these mods for NV instead of F4? so far the only big mod I seen for F4 is the one set in a london only slightly worse than current london.

Fallout 4 is a much bigger pain in the ass to mod for and it has worse, more stripped down gameplay mechanics. Why bother making your big RPG project in a game that doesn't support more than 4 dialogue choices, different kinds of ammo, a proper damage resistance system or anything else New Vegas has by default? Only bad thing you can say about NV compared to F4 is that it has worse graphics, believe me nobody who grew up with Fallout 1 and 2 gives a shit about that. Fallout 4 also has a much smaller modding base due to horrible tools, lack of interesting things you can make with them, and the awful taste you must have to slurp Bethesda slop in the first place. Most remaining modders just port over tacticool guns from Call of Duty or make porn mods by this point in Fallout 4, unless they're already working on a big project like Miami or Cascadia. All the remaining talent works for New Vegas. Why wouldn't they, London already pushed the GECK beyond it's limits and you cannot even open that file without a specialized lobotomized Fallout 4 master file(which I covered in my review, can't be bothered to look on which page). I never had that problem with New Vegas and I modded that game pretty much since the modding tools for it came out. BTW Miami and probably other big projects are suffering from this as well, modding tools barely working and being a pain in the ass to even get working past a certain point in your mod's life cycle is one of the reasons why it's taking them so long to come out. For Nuevo Mexico and other New Vegas mods, it's just plain incompetence.

Genuinely bummed that Mexico is such a small part of Sonora, or that you can't side with the Mexican Military as a fourth hidden ending if you take the Spanish speaking trait. This is why I was somewhat excited about this project, it would fill that niche. Oh, that and at one point it was much more closely resembling a remaster of Van Buren before it got cancelled, this is just the latest iteration of the mod(and likely not the last).

I can only think it's because of the superior crafting and weapon customization as well as the dialog camera doesn't shift back to the player character because fallout 4 was designed for the PC to speak in game.

Well it's a game about USA after all, and moving it to another country opens a huge can of lore worms and traps. I agree that "Spanish speaking" trait in underdeveloped.
