Not only is it a huge fucking pain in the ass because of how they are bullet sponges, but with hardcore on where the weight of bullets is part of your overall gear? It's fucking brutal.
The only time I didn't find it a total slog was when I went in with a .50 sniper and about 1000 explosive rounds. And while it wasn't a slog it was a fucking pain in the ass caps wise.

I remember going in with with like 3000 357 rounds and over 1000 45 rounds and using all of them. For whatever reason I ended up doing OWB last.

I hated Dead Money because it had so many cheap ways to die. Every radio and speaker felt like a test of your patience, and just when you thought you were out of range, beep beep beep beep. Want to go somewhere? Beep beep beep.
The Ghost People weren't even a challenge. I can already snap off a normal enemy's limb without trying, these gas mask-wearing faggots aren't even going to last a couple seconds.
The new weapons weren't good, they didn't reward you for going out of your way to get them. The Auto-rifle literally only hits shit at close range, the police revolver was just a .357 revolver reskin, and the various melee weapons all felt the same.

I did OWB once and it was with a science/speech/energy weaps high leveled char, which by that time had maxed out 4 or 5 skills. Combat wise I didn't find it much of a problem. Dead money's atmosphere and story was probably the best of any NV DLC though, agreed.

So I installed a few mods on my Xbox One FO4, no not God Mode or 'Spawn Items' because I ain't a little bitch ass scrub.
Installed a custom patch to improve performance.
Installed increased level spawns, to make "too quiet" areas more dangerous.
Improved the terrible map outlines on the Pip-Boy.
Installed full dialog menu.

AAAAAA Fallout. 
That out of the way, I haven't had the chance to play 4 yet because I'm broke and kind of don't want to spend money on easily outdated consoles anymore, but I loved all of the Fallout DLCs thus far... with the exception of Mothership. It felt a bit off compared to the rest, maybe that was the point? IDEK. The only fun part of that was the abomination reveal and how they'd point and scream like pod people. Needless to say, I have high hopes for 4's. Especially the robotics one and Far Harbor. I got some Point Lookout vibes off of it and I loved Lookout's atmosphere and enemies.
I have both the PC and the Xbox version of 3...and they're both the same. Only difference is the PC version could be modded and sometimes you could remedy bugs through console commands, but it's really nothing to start up a pc vs. console gaming war over.
-People just need to chill the hell out and play their fucking Fallouts without trying to ruin others save files.

Honestly? people whom are putting are reuploading shit to Bethesdas site, which wanting to prevent that is fine.

Perhaps the kind that wants to justify their purchase of an expensive console or computer hardware outside of wanting to play games you can't find on other systems. Console wars is nothing more than just sperging over brands. Sure they can say PC has mods but since you have consoles that get to experience said mods, that makes the PC spergs fear they are losing their edge even though one can assume one of their best mods are most likely titty mods and equipment that is either from another series or is just some over-powered piece of equipment.
