This is why i say the Minutemen were Bethesda's answer to the followers
Though it's funny one of the biggest mods is either killing or muting Preston Garvey. Though it's also funny in spite of Bethesda trying to shoehorn The Enclave into their games, they don't give you the option to join them, so much so another of the most popular mods is America Rising, where you can have the options to go OG or a less purity focused Enclave.
 
can someone reccomend me some mods for just fallout 3? I dont really like the changes TTW makes to both games and would just like to change fallout 3 considering there is a mod that released changing how the entire story plays out.
I approve of this mod conceptually. I have a mod setup with TTW I haven't ran yet so I'm glad you posted this prior to that. Will help differentiate a 3-run at least.

nevermind i got blocked by cloudflare on their website for using a temp email im no longer able to use nexus mods, its either that or they dont allow custom dns, even after reseting every cookie and cache imaginable. had to use microsoft edge to fix it

Sometimes, inexplicably, a website will block me from accessing it. It's a browser issue. If you block 3rd party cookies, fingerprinting, ads, "Do not track me" requests, etcetera, it may sometimes just decide to block you perceiving you to be a bot. Edge doesn't have most of these options in it which is why you could access it. I tried accessing reuters and the same thing happened.
 
I find it hilarious in spite of Fallout 3 making Bethesda have a second mega IP, it has almost no lasting mod legacy unlike Morrowind which is a near 24 year old game.

I think it's entirely because of NV, which uses the same engine, albeit with more features. A similar situation to Arena and Daggerfall.
 
The Arefu/Family quest in Fallout 3 is so morally retarded.
Killing the "totally not cannibals, we LARP as vampires so it's heckin' better" Family gives you bad karma and the Arefu people don't like you anymore. How is giving their blood to them in exchange of protection considered the best choice?

There is not a single cannibal in NV that has higher than evil or very evil karma for a reason.

Trying to do an "well akshully muh shades of gray" shit with cannibals is retarded.

I take great glee in killing the Fiends as they're peak Evil and Degeneracy. Though the cut dialogue of Cook Cook is kind of funny in a deranged way. I suppose it does fit with absolute monsters can have some draw.

Only issue I have with that is you get fuck tons of positive karma from killing Fiends. It makes sense given how comically evil they are but you can go from evil karma to very good in like ten fiends messing up evil or RP runs.

Thankfully karma rebalance mods fix this.
