Dead Money > Old World Blues > Lonesome Road > Honest Hearts for me.

Old World Blues would've been the best if it weren't for those annoying as fuck Robo-Scorpions that required two-hundred bullets in their systems before they broke down. And having to do that High School part about three times wasn't great either. The rest was great though.

For me its:

Old World Blues>Dead Money>Honest Hearts>Lonesome Road

Old World Blues simply because its fun to wander the wastes with a dog brained minigun, that and the cheesy sci-fi goodness feels like an Ed Wood movie. Dead Money is second, even though it frustrated the fuck outta me, but the spooky atmosphere in retrospect is impressive. I didn't like Lonesome Road at all, which is why its last. I mean the whole back story is cool but the fact its so linear means for me personally, it doesn't feel like how a Fallout game should (Thats coming from someone who only played Fallout 3 vanilla version and New Vegas). The loot however is worth it, I love Ulysses Duster and wearing it around.
 
Lonesome Road at least has something going for it. An intriguing and mysterious character that all the DLC's beforehand have been building up in a completely devastated and ruined landscape. Honest Hearts is just... boring. It has some great characters and a beautiful wasteland but man.
 
I will concede that, yeah, confronting Ulysses is pretty sweet by the end of it, but I feel there was little to no freedom for exploration other than a few derelict buildings. I was also disappointed that no new dialogue options (that I could find) popped up when I nuked either NCR or Legion at the end. I would have loved to hear Caesar lose his shit after having fucked him dry. Honest Hearts redeemed itself for that exploration, the story of the Survivalist, Joshua Grahams voice and eventually the battle for Zion, which for me was a tight matched conflict that felt like a guerrilla campaign

The only DLC that affected the main story in any way was Dead Money, unless you count two new locations that don't impact the rest of the game. Kind of a bummer.

Did you mean "That didn't affect the main story"? Because I agree, it doesn't affect much at all, unless of course you break the games economy with the grand number of gold bar multiples. I feel Dead Money should have influenced the BOS' attitude towards you.
 
Actually, Dead Money does give a few new responses with talking with Veronica if you hand her Elijah's journal, but that's it to be honest. I would've liked to see some new responses to Caesar concerning Joshua Graham but alas.

Kinda strange they skimped on the dialogue considering this is the same game that has Arcade comment on your historical accuracy when you stab Caesar to death, or allows you to point out Victor should be dead if he somehow managed to get destroyed before you encounter him again.

Oh really? Thats a little disappointing considering I would've liked to have started yelling about the Burned Man all through Caesars camp. But still, the DLC was solid and added to a solid game. I wonder what 4's DLC is gonna be like?
 
Yelling about the Burned Man would've put your reputation with the Legion as low as it can get, most likely.

I imagine 4's DLC won't hold up to NV's considering the different development teams. Out of 3's DLCs, the only ones I cared for was The Pitt and Point Lookout, and even the latter bothered the hell out of me with its redneck bulletsponges.
 
True, but usually by that point I'm already vilified due to me and Boone wiping out Cottonwood Cove.

Well, I'm optimistic, I'm hoping for maybe something set in New York or New Jersey. If its the latter, I imagine a DLC where you make your own mafia gang like Tony Soprano.
 
I haven't got the DLC (GASP) yet but Honest Hearts looks absolutely stunning, and the story, makes the rest of New Vegas seem cheery.

It's an interesting mix. Dead Money hearkens back to the original Bioshock very well.

I heard good things about NVB but I only use jsawyer. I might try out DUST and Bounties in the future though.
 
Yes, I know. I'm just a lazy fuck, plus I'm still doing a playthrough I want to finish before installing more mods.
