Fallout series

I hated Dead Money the first time I played it because of the damn radios. It is fun and satisfying at first figuring them out, but by the last section in the casino I was over it. After playing through it with some foresight it became my favorite DLC. Great story and great characters.

Nice endgame content but you won't use any of the cool stuff in it because the game is over.

In my playthroughs I usually just do the main quest up until you reach The Strip for the first time, then do all of the DLCs. Dead Money first so I can use the gold to stock up on weapons and ammo because I am a greedy faggot. Then Honest Hearts -> Old World Blues -> Lonesome Road. Nuke whatever faction I want (or both) then head to The Strip and get my crimes forgiven to continue the main quest. That way I can use all of the cool shit the DLCs gives you during the rest of the game.

Modders are the biggest crybaby faggots on the internet. Kids who really were not bullied enough in real life. Who seriously goes "I'm taking my ball and going home! And it is the coolest ball! Now you'll never see it! Should have sucked my dick harder!" As an adult human?

Take your clunky cars and shove it you dumb cunt. I play New Vegas to talk to people and shoot shit.
I haven't seen that behavior too often "back in the day" so it's most likely a new thing. Nu-male zoomer/millennial thing. I'm not one to rag on age too much but I mean...it's definitely more common in the recent generation(s).
Which are your favourite and/or best DLC's for FNV?
Used to be Lonesome road, but that was the first time. Subsequent playthroughs are far less interesting and even grating when you start noticing the flaws. Dead money is now my favorite, though Honest Hearts is pretty cool for the sole factor of Joshua Graham but I do have an interest in tribalism. On one hand I'd like to see more of it, on the other hand the Fallout universe should've kept developing societal in most areas as it is a post-apocalyptic series. Maybe some spin-offs in less developed areas that weren't either Legion'd or NCR'd, now I'm afraid that to get that now since Bethesda is retarded, but I digress.
Ethical and Moral reasons against porting the code
Of which I fail to see any. The day people took modding so seriously that we're talking about morality and ethics as well as the concept of "mod piracy" is the day I lost any respect for most modders. I mean, I get plagiarism, but ffs telling people they're not allowed to re-upload with full credits to other sites to spread the word because "muh artist integrity" or "that site is against my beliefs" or because they're too fucking lazy is nonsense.

can someone please talk about this autistic amount of introducing random gay shit into your fallout mods, I know about fallout frontier but im talking about fallout 4, first thing I would probably talk about is random trans shit but then theres random gun skins no one wants and should be optional, and then theres...

you may recognize this individual, you might not. In general hes one of the larger developers regarding fallout 4 as a whole and goes by degenerate dak, can people please just keep autistic shit out of mods?

I can't name my favorite, but I personally find Lonesome Road to be the one bad dlc.
Yeah I just remember playing it for the first time not really understanding why everything felt like an edgy 90s comic. That’s fairly common for fallout designs but that DLC felt really out of place compared to the rest of the other DLCs. I also didn’t really understand ulysses motivations the first time I played it until I realized he is just autistic and doesn’t like big change happening all the sudden. I’m sure if the lone wanderer slowly introduced nuking the shit out of the divide he wouldn’t of reacted so badly 🧩

Who would win in a yapping competition? Ulysses or DSP?

When I replayed NV last year I was dreading Dead Money, I skipped it in all but by first playthrough because I remembered the radios and the fog being a pain in the ass and that I barely beat the DLC the first time I played it. But I made the decision to beat all the DLCs so I did it and quite frankly it wasn't bad at all. There's much less areas with them than what I remember and the radios are really easy to disable, I think even the ones that are shielded have their power source somewhere nearby that you can disable. Same with the holograms. The reason why I hated it back then was probably because I was only 16 or 17 thereabouts when I first played it and I probably did it at a low level, this time I started it at level 22 and it wasn't too tough.

I play it for the Riot Armors and the Dusters that's about it. The drip makes up for it.
I still prefer the desert ranger armor, looks cooler to me.

My biggest problem with modders is that they don't understand what "immersive" means. Immersive means the mod should fit with the game, both mechanically and thematically so well that you can't tell it apart from vanilla content. However, modders (even the good ones) suffer from "Modders Megalomania". They make a dungeon 5 times bigger than it needs to be, with 10 times the enemies so it becomes a tedious slog rather than challenging. Also, they make shit way too fancy. I'm looking at Skyrim city overhaul mods here, and those modders don't understand that the majority of Skyrim's denizens are supposed to be simple people of modest means, which really breaks my immersion when I walk into a random peasant's shack and it's decorated like the inside of King Midas' asshole!

And the lighting is never right, ever notice that? It's either too dim, too bright, or just flat. I don't know how the lighting system works, and maybe the modders just do it like that to account for lighting overhaul mods, which I don't use. I assume that in the editor you can just plop down light sources and adjust the intensity, right?

And now, time for something completely different!

I hope and pray anyone with an actual human brain working as an executive in the media industry fires people such as Geneeva Dwovert-Robertson in a click away. She makes me wish the grand return of people like Seltzerberg, I'm not kidding

Simple, these people have no personality beyond "I'm gay and love being gay! Please validate my existence or you're a bigot!" So they shove their mods full of said "personality" because they can't function otherwise (the modder more than the mod). "Art is an expression of oneself and mods are art" or something along those lines is something I've unironically been told (before getting banned for disagreeing). I'll be honest though, not sure what the fuck that link is supposed to be but it's...oddly adorable in a goofy way. Little green fucker.

I can see Creetosis being vindicated for shitting on the show, despite fanboys going "it's not even out yet!"

Do they not realize that Power Armor is heavy as fuck? Even Fo4 got it right, Fallout fucking 4. Then again the writers probably have the Emil mindset of "we're not beholden to established lore because that's in the past and we're looking at the present, and the present says borderline floating power armor and cyclops overseers."

Modders in general, for my namesake let's look at Starsector. Spot the amount of mods that add weeb shit despite greatly conflicting with both the art style and theme of the game. This is a problem with every game, though I can forgive it somewhat since they're optional mods and I don't really get immersive easily anymore, though for those that do can just not use it. But you're right when you say "Modders Megalomania," many a mod project has fallen short because they fly too close to the sun, not realizing what they're doing does more harm to their mods than adding anything good. Regarding Skyrim's overhauls, the main problem I have is that they're cluttered to high hell so it takes up a lot of unnecessary GPU and even CPU power. That being said, there's not too many simple city overhauls I found that make it overall better without it being over the top, but I do like a lot of them regardless, though I see where you're coming from. At least in regards to the more humble areas like Falkreath, I can see Solitude and maybe Markarth being pretty, but the aestetics have to be right or else it's jarring.

Oh and you're absolutely right about the lighting sometimes, a fucking Nvidia mod made to test the new graphics card at the time has better lighting than a lot of mods. No one took a look at that mod for inspiration? Or maybe it's too hard and buggy to justify it? I can see the latter being the case because Bethesda, I've messing with the CK back in LE and it was a pain in the ass so I can see if people just don't give a shit. But it's pretty easy to tell if something is too dark or too light and make adjustments according for an experienced modder, no? Maybe they just use mods that do it in game or just raise/lower their brightness settings so they don't give a shit if anyone says it's too dark or bright when the player can just change it themselves? Then there's one that intentionally make it too dark or too bright for whatever reason, though I can see more reason for the former than latter.

Will never happen, these people are nepo babies or know too much. Even if they do get fired from one place they'll have a bunch of other well paying places to write at, even if everything they touch turns to shit because the top brass is so out of touch themselves while also being secured financially and job-wise that if they ever "go down" themselves they'll get a gold parachute and immediately find themselves another good position to ever give a fuck if something is good or bad because all these people fail upward. However, now that I'm noticing consoomers consooming less slop lately (more or less), perhaps things will change...

I couldn’t get the video to load because I weirdly run into this problem every now and again where some videos load some don’t. Got a link to what it is?
