we live in the darkest timesWaypoints, onscreen instructions, and markers have dulled people who play games since the 6th generation. GTA III wouldn't have been anywhere near as popular if it didn't have huge markers and waypoints holding your hand and onscreen instructions that tell you what to do on a mission.
To expect people to take dialogue into consideration is expecting too much out of them.
