t was leaked a while ago that there was a Fallout 3 remaster in the works that was supposed to use some wacky Unreal-Gamebyro fusion to play the game.

That's going to be entertaining. Not the game of course, but I can't it imagine it being anything other than a new low.

Will it be as shit as the GTA Definitive edition, which was was also basically a emulate version of the old engine running in unreal? Probably!
I mean we've seen that happened with Warcraft 3 Reforged and recently Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, so of course it's gonna be more of a demake and less of anything fun, but consoomers will eat it up

Did I mention how much I love the Titans of the East mod? Because I love it so much, it finally makes you feel that you're a walking tank with the sounds of you walking and the shaky camera effect when you jump. How did I not installed this before? It looks awesome and it could perfectly be a vanilla design.

Here's a screenshot of my character and my beloved sidekick ED-E.

What initially attracted you to the fallout series?

For me I first got introduced through new vegas.I liked new vegas because of the well thought out lore and factions. I also liked new vegas because it didn't have the over the top bright 1950s aesthetic that the new games have

The Radio Station numbers Creepypasta, that was the first knowledge I had for the series. And then I got attracted on how massively large Fallout 3 was and the exploration aspect was really attractive to me, and decided to give it a shot one day when I bought the game. And the rest as they say, is history.

And then discovered Fallout New Vegas, and that's when I really got hooked into the series and the lore. Never really left my love for the game since.

Whats funny is that everyone on reddit says new vegas is overrated but then everyone I see outside of reddit thinks new vegas is the best game

On almost all of the old school RPG or Fallout sites New Vegas is considered the best Fallout game. Some consider it the best RPG of all time. And a few people will say it is the best game of all time or at least their favorite game. And most of the discussion about New Vegas's excellence and its faults are at an adult level and often in depth on those sites.

Reddit and other cesspools that like the Bethesda Fallouts have the mentality of children and idiots. Their brains rotted from social media and modern schooling are incapable of discussing the game beyond a base level. They cannot articulate why they like or dislike any aspect of Fallout whatsoever for any reason. This is why whenever you see an essay or video about how Fallout 3 is underrated or New Vegas overrated it seems like it was made by a child. And it is incoherent or downright schizophrenic in its presentation.

Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas are made for one group of people. Fallout 3, 4, 76, and the Amazon show are made for an entirely different group.

Nowadays it's better to play Fallout 3 through A Tale of Two Wastelands, which ports 3 into New Vegas with it's features, and with the ability to use its mods. Here's a great guide I followed just the other day, followed up by this one by the same guy which goes more in depth in overhauling the game. Started a playthrough it recently and I've been having a blast, even considering the fact that 3 is my least favorite entry. (Besides Tactics and 76 which I haven't played)
Hmm, might rebuild my mod list somewhat based off what I find on these guides, nice.

I really hope that Fallout 3 remaster leak was real since I feel like that could work very well, Fallout 3 is a good barebones game with lots of room for improvement while also letting a New Dev Team try a Fallout game without having the concerns of modern writing thrown in.
We both know it's somehow gonna be censored to shit, I won't be surprised if they flat out remove some really dark shit you could do in 3 like enslaving children.

I saw a let's play from a small channel a decade and change ago. 10 Episodes in I ordered the game, 20 more episodes in it arrived.

there is a dialog option basically calls for "the day of the rope" for ghouls. you bet your ass that line would be changed.
Speaking of ghouls, don't forget how demanding equal rights for ghouls in Tenpenny Tower results in them slaughtering the entire human population and hiding their bodies in the basement.

Last F4SE update for a bit I promise. The dev of F4SE is having issues actually figuring out what issues are caused by F4SE and what issues are caused by the mess that is the Next Gen patch, being able to recreate numerous issues modders have raised within vanilla Fallout 4. The Dev is hoping there will be a Next Gen patch patch soon to hopefully fix the numerous bugs introduced to the game with NG. Updating F4SE to a patch for NG won't take anywhere near as long as it did for updating to NG.

Have there been cases of Microsoft/Bethesda retroactively removing/changing content in remasters? I feel like I've never heard of them doing that before.
