To be fair, you could live with half your brain. And the only real major issues Mitchell would have are infection and bloodloss, which you could explain through future tech.

If anyone can confirm Legion Fan or whatever is actually schizo and not just some dude using his edit as a picture, we might have something.
The part about making videos to pay the phone bill does suggest it is, but isn't direct evidence.

yet one of the world's most well funded and largest game studios can't create a single functioning game that people actually wanna play fallout 4 only is as popular as it is due to fallout 3 being the soft relaunch of the game and the good will they got from fallout new Vegas the last fallout game sold 1,000,000 copies.

why not go back and try and finish the original concept for fallout 3 ohh hell even make a remastered version of new Vegas ohh even make it 3D remaster one and two and tactics.

I genuinely feel bad for Chris Avellone though especially after he went through those fake sexual assault allegations but on Vick he actually got a competent lawyer and won his case

he really should put a team together and create his own post apocalyptic RPG
however Tim kaine can kill himself all like him the guy has spent the better part of the last five years sucking off Bethesda because he still thinks that he's going to get to make another fallout game

It's a moot point anyways because the courier becomes a cyborg after completing Old World Blues so all their damaged shit gets replaced by superior parts anyways.

I just generally assumed that Doc went through nearly all his supplies keeping you stable, it helps curb my inner desire to loot his house and then sell it back to him to get a shit ton of drugs.
 
Idk bros. Even with fallouts magical SCIENCE! I just find it hard to believe ol Doc had enough on hand to repair your scrambled noggin and fix your face after being shot twice point blank. Sure it was "only" a 9 mil. Sure, people have survived seemingly impossible shit irl like the pipe brain or failed parachutes when skydiving. We've probably all seen the vid of the nigger who's woman accidentally headshotted him in the car, and he somehow lived.

So there's real world comparisons we can point to, but those situations also didn't rely on a backwoods doctor in a glorified shack who most likely wouldn't have much more than what was necessary for the typical injuries he'd have to treat in Goodsprings. A town where the worst you'd have to deal with is Big-Horner booboos and Gecko bites.
I guess it makes for a fun, logical reason to go for a low INT run but that's as far as my tism will allow me to try to logic the situation away.

Guess those doctor bags and stimpacks really are just that amazing.

But yeah it is a big reach no matter what but it's one I can overlook for the most part especially with how Doc Mitchell himself does point out just how god damn lucky Six is. It's not like we aren't shown to have suffered some form of damage anyways as the brain damage is in my opinion a decent way to explain why Six is unaware of the Mojave's geo political climate, of course the fact that if they have a certain perk while talking to the Mysterious Drifter male Couriers can remember they had a one night stand and could possibly have a kid somewhere in the midwest does kinda sour that idea but eh.

It's an old trope in movies, books, comics, and games. Especially Westerns, where the outlaws shoot someone or bury someone up to their neck and they live. Someone gets 'left for dead' and returns from certain death for revenge or another purpose. Darth Vader, Robocop, Vito Corleone, the list is endless of characters that are left for dead and somehow survive. A character in Sicario Day of the Soldier gets shot in the head in the desert just like the Courier and comes back just fine eventually. New Vegas was not the first nor last story to have someone take a headshot and live.

Part of the joke of New Vegas is that you get shot in the brain like Johan from Monster and so you can justify a 1 or 10 INT character as well.

The person who wrote the story for the TV series was a fallout fan back in college. He had only played fallout 1 & 2, and not New Vegas. The NCR wasn't that big in those games while the brotherhood was made out to be a nationwide organization for some reason.
