Fallout series

This pissed me off to an unreasonable degree. I quite liked the wolfenstein reboot games (before they dropped the ball with that shitty one about B.J.’s daughters or whatever) and seeing this shit was just fucking soul crushing. The trailers for the mod made it seem somewhat competent, I even showed my Grandpa who’s been playing NV non-stop since release on Xbox, even offered to give a cheap laptop and to help install it when it came out so he could get some new content out of his all time favorite game. Literally never mentioned it to him again years later when it officially released and was embarrassing, unadulterated dogshit.
imagine being in the same room as your grandpa when he got to the bit where you fuck a deathclaw

Why'd they give him such an elaborate name?
Also >Very good Karma
Nate is canonically a war criminal, he would not have very good Karma. Unless Bethesda is implying killing Canadians is perfectly fine.
Emil walked the war crimes bit back after the big uproar over it. It was cowardly but the Canon answer now is "we don't really know what he did".

@Your Spiritual Liege

For fallout 2, always make sure that your special stats are uneven especially if you are using rpu, with updated maps as well.
EcCo mod is really easy to install, its just 1 exe, just makes more tag skills viable, im currently working through an energy weapons build but you honestly only can do a small arms build, unarmed, big guns, and energy weapons build in vanilla, EcCo mod makes sneak killing a viable way to go because in vanilla is restricted to have sneak criticals on unarmed with 1 perk, it makes everything harder in general, it adds an entirely new mechanic of planting and arming traps and explosives, although i have not tried this type of character yet im seriously intrigued, it makes it so if you are going to be bartering you have to spec pretty hard into it because it punishes you otherwise, the crafting system is also very indepth despite having very small features.
heres 2 characters that are completely viable in both vanilla fallout 2 and with the ecco mod, the sex appeal trait can be swapped out for fast shot for vanilla fallout 2.
also as a reminder the EcCo mod removes bonus fire rate for a perk later down the line as the author states that its too op considering the turbo plasma rifle already being at 3 ap with fast shot and doing 90 damage.

Weird news, pretty popular Fallout: New Vegas modder Someguy2000 - creator of the New Vegas Bounty series and "Bad Mothafucka" - has completely purged his Nexus account as of last month. This was after he had vanished for some several years, his last appearance being giving Roybatty hisb lessings to remaster New Vegas Bounties 1 into New Vegas Bounties LE.
The mods themselves are still available, but it seems like he chose to wipe himself off the internet. Probably got tired of trannies asking him to make New Vegas Bounties 4: Steven Randall Sodomizes Russell. According to fellow modder and the one behind the NVB I LE remaster of New Vegas Bounties 1, Someguy2000 either died, or he's just being dramatic about a retirement. Someguy2000 was a self-admitted obese alcoholic, so that could easily have been what did him in.

Did someone say "Elianora"?

Reminder that this creature was so repulsive that despite all the nepotism and wokeness Bethesda is well know for, she was too repulsive to keep her job in that company and now she's just another "veteran modder" that Bethesda uses as nearly free labor for their Creation Club mines, lmao!
Imagine not even Todd, Emil or Pete wanting anything to do with you! The smell must be at least part of it.

Old stuff but finding out the chick who made these worked on the Next-Gen update was really funny.

Talentless texture mods anyone can make in less than 10 minutes.
This wench was always extremely overrated, but the modding scene is so desperate for any crumb of real pussy that they turned Elianora into a superstar pretending she has the talent of TrannyMillenia and the autistic attention to detail as Jmenaru.

Any dude that offered the same shit would get laughed at and mocked, rightly so.

She has no skill, like none.
She can't script, she can't model, she can't animate, she can't UV map. It's all shitty recolors/retextures done in GIMP or mashups done in Outfit Studio; things any normie with 30 minutes to spare can learn to do.
She never had a chance at any developer company as an artist, and she's too stupid to be an efficient HR goblin. Pure ass cancer.

This is why I don't believe that she allegedly banged the owner of Nexus Mods for her position, because you'd think a guy worth 3 million quid could score better pussy than that. But then again, considering the looks of the average British woman, maybe he can't!

Try Fallout Nevada. It is actually a prequel to Fallout 1, but it's a fantastic title never the less. The same author made Sonora as well, altho I am not sure what the status of the translation is. Not really Fallout but it's still in the Fallout 2 engine, Olympus 2077 is a neat little title if you're looking for oldschool Fallout. You can't go wrong with Fallout Tactics, if you never played that before, altho that's strictly if you actually enjoy the combat in these isometric games. If you're in a shitposting mood, there is Oblivion Lost: a Stalker x Fallout 2 crossover, which is about as stable and well written as you think. Lastly, you could try ATOM Rpgs, which are spiritual reimagining of OG Fallout titles if they took place in soviet russia instead. Oh, and similarly to Et Tu being a successor to Fixt, there is a new version of Restoration Project that adds new companions as well as many more QoL changes. I haven't tried that one myself, so I can't tell you more.
Nevada and Sonora are still untranslated, and my Russian isn't strong enough to allow me for an enjoyable playthrough, would had to check dictionary every third sentence, plus i don't want to go into the machine translation, bots aren't that clever and there is a lot of neologisms and phrasal verbs, that could make such translation difficult.

I'm not really into Fallout 2 stand-alone mods, i like to play games i know, that are improved with mods, especially the stability, my last F2 playthrough was rife with hard-crashes and save corruptions, one of the reason that kept me away. I really like Tactics, a different, more tactical and combat oriented approach to the Fallout formula, but i don't want to replay it atm, i just want a nice, classic, more optimized, and slightly improved run of the original games.

I think i'm gonna check the Project Restoration, last time i had some issues with running it, hope the newest version will work without a fuss.

My dude, Nevada has been translated for years now, I'm on my 3rd of 4th playthru right now, started the other day. Sonora does have a translation as well but I don't think it's very good since it's a WIP.
Make sure to check the extended restoration project that came out recently, not the old one that has been around forever. I believe you can find it on github and on nexus(yes, there is a Fallout 2 nexus) if not on NMA itself.

Damn, i must've mistaken it with Sonora and Dayglow, i remember Sonora did had a translation, but it wasn't very good, hm, i think i'll start with Restoration (i'm going to use the v29 from 29th of April i'v found on github), then Nevada. Nothing beats the classic.

Who needs Todd's Slop, when you still have the classics?

Isn't Dayglow just a DLC for Sonora? If the main game isn't translated, why would the added content be?
I think playing Nevada right after Fallout 2 will be a right call. Nevada is actually a prequel that takes place even before Fallout 1, but the key word here is balancing. Fallout 2 gets real easy after a certain point, and the entire Oil Rig finale is just a power trip(or a cake walk without a single bullet fired if you know what you're doing). Nevada, on the other hand, is HARD, it will test your skill not only in classic Fallout but as an RPG gamer as a whole. Most of the game is spend in that early-mid game level where you are only equipped with barely passing guns and leather/metal armor, with combat armor and a decent late tier gun being late late late end game content(power armor is an optional side quest that will take you the entire game to finish and it's absolute dogshit compared to the APA or even the regular T51b). I think you will like this little struggle session right after the victory lap that is Fallout 2 end game, will wake you right up real quick.
BTW, speaking of toddslop, apparently Vault 13 project is coming from it's stasis(or leaving the Vault, as it were) as I've seen their twitter slowly reactivate. They're promising a demo this summer, here are a few screenshots:

Sister mod, Project Arroyo that aims to remake Fallout 2, is similarly active and I've posted about it here already. Even without London, we could be eating good soon.

I hate how the Frontier has left me so cynical that I have little faith in Miami, London or either of these fan remakes.
I talked with the Miami devs personally, and seen enough of their content to know that they at least know what they're doing. Rest? Not so much, altho we know enough about London to know that it will likely be decent...if it ever comes out, that is.
You are right to be skeptical, what we've seen from Frontier even right before launch was also optimistic.

I'm just so jaded that I am expecting Miami will fall into the same release purgatory that London is now in or that a similar situation will happen with them, there have been a few people that I have talked to who have told me that they have spoken to the devs personally and that I should have faith but reality is just often so disappointing and Fallout is such a cursed property at this point that I just can't help but be hesitant to get excited for it.
