Fallout series

The FO London devs are using the update as an excuse not to release their mod and despite being utter shitheads I can't exactly blame them.

Leaks have revealed FO London to be in very rough shape with horrific performance issues and some very questionable Frontier tier design choices when it comes to worldbuilding.
I've been guessing ever since they elected not to release the mod that it was simply a convenient excuse

The whole project is suspect considering the lack of main quest footage.

They're not relying on sales, so choosing not to release it to the community on the previous patch version makes no sense

The FO London team are all gaynniggers. Hopefully Miami is good their dev team seem cool.

Not sure if someone brought this up but Fallout Yesterday just came out and its a Fallout 2 TC mod that seeks to replicate Van Buren as close as it can to the original plans.
The mod isn't out yet, this is just a 0.6 release. It is quite far away from actual 1.0 complete release.
Also, the mod isn't a 1-1 representation of Van Buren, it's wearing it's skin and doesn't really do anything original with the new content that's there. It could be compared to "Beyond the Boulder Dome" mod for New Vegas, which was also based off Van Buren content: The inspiration for it is cool, but the mod as a whole just isn't all that good, especially the new and original parts. Warlockracy did a good job showing how...mediocre the Yesterday mod is, even if it's an old version. I would pass and wait for an actual Van Buren remake update(There is now also "Revelation Blues" project for New Vegas which actually is supposed to be closer to being a 1-1 remake of Van Buren, or Nuevo Mexico which takes heavy inspiration as well while giving us their own take on the story. The latter is in a limbo since it's had tranny drama and the official channel deleted all the videos of the project)
Speaking of Ashfall. Anyone buying this or is it just a cope? Also, I had a feeling Fallout London was fucked, after all most big modding projects like this are bound to fail.
Yeah, that's dead in the water. Funny how the moment that tranny flag flies, it might as well spell the end of the current project, lol. Animals and insects that are dangerous in nature are usually bright and neon colored so that other fauna knows not to get near them, apparently the cattle doesn't just ignore those warnings but actively tries to get closer to the said predators, even if it's always going to spell out their doom
Hopefully Miami is good their dev team seem cool.
Miami devs seem to know, and care, about Fallout much more than London crew does. The project lead even visits the Fallout General on /vg/ sometimes, I've seen him recently being angry when he was asked if there are any animal people to fuck in Florida too and confirmed that there is no such thing in his mod. We will see. One notable difference is that Miami crew actually streams some of their development sessions so we know there is work being done, where as with London it's all just secrecy and assurance that everything is fine...until it's not and someone from your discord leaks that there is fish people in the game.

You know what sucks? Preston is actually a somewhat interesting companion when you take away him constantly handing out radiant quests. Dude was demoralized, broken, and without purpose thanks to the Minutemen disintegrating as a result of internal politicking and Quincy and this random stranger comes out of nowhere to save the day and restore his faith in not just humanity but himself. He didn't expect anyone to come, and would have found a way to go out in an utterly pointless blaze of glory.
I say this all the time, I like the dude a fair bit and wish he wasn't marred by his radiant quest bot status.

I like the Brotherhood of Steel but everyone else is just kinda lame, I started a new game in FO4 today building a melee character, and the Minutemen are just annoying trying to get you to join them
Just get a ripper with a bleeding effect GG. But valid, personally I don't really like the FO4 BoS as I feel they have strayed too far from their original ideals at this point. The BoS of Old would have tried to take control of the institute and its technology instead of destroying it.

I've been shitting on Xilandro since I found him. I first found him when he kept putting faggot ass Ukraine flags on his thumbnails for Nexus and YouTube and kept crying about how everyone was mean to him despite being a massive cunt to everyone who even slightly disagrees with him. "Ukrainians are dying! If you don't like the flag you support Russia!" "Then why are you fleeing Ukraine instead of fighting for it?" "SHUT UP YOU'RE RUSSIAN TROLL, BLOCKED, REEEEEEEEEEEEE NO CAR MOD FOR ANOTHER GORILLIAN YEARS!" Watching his autism ever since, even looked at some of his even older faggotry. Shame he didn't accidentally kill himself working on The Frontier, would've been even more hilarious when it came out that it was a giant mess.
I always forget he was a massive faggot about that shit tbh thanks for reminding me lol.

I remember seeing him go fucking off on that topic, pure repulsion. Absolutely based and I hope to God it's at least decent.

The BoS of Old and the nuBoS are borderline incomparable, it's not even funny. I know that there are several BoS branches that are in various spots across the country, each with variations of their creed, that's understandable. I mean look at the Midwestern Brotherhood. What's not understandable is how much they've strayed from their original form so quickly with little rime or reason, and how pretty much every game the BoS are going to change each game, such as the transition from Fo1, fo2, Tactics, to the fuckery of Fo3 and Fo4. You can actually see people in real time go from "yeah the original to NV Brotherhood is great, not so much the Fo3/Fo4 ones" to "MUH POWERARMOR" and other fanboy nonsense starting from around ~6-7 years ago.

God dammit. What happened again? Seriously they're got (meant God but "got parasites" is probably accurate too) damn parasites that swarm to whatever interests people who aren't in their cult in order to recruit "eggs" into their cult.

I don't normally play "evil" path on my first playthrough but I did wind up going with Institute in 4. A lot of the shit like their super mutants feels shoehorned but I honestly think they have more incentive for joining than Caesars Legion (which is a very interesting faction but you only see such a small fraction of what their society is like)

Bethesda's usually so awful about portraying morality but I could reasonably explain my character sticking with them, even if hesitant to support their methods. It also helps that you're son's there to add an ethical dilemma to the quest you set out on (even if it's silly that he conveniently wound up as the leader of the whole faction)

We all know that the NCR storyline for Frontier (along with 90+% of the mod) is dogshit, but is the Legion even remotely better? I've seen the Brotherhood and I'd take them over the NCR's storyline, though I rather not take it at all.

Not really, people are going to tell you that the Leigon and Crusader storyline are better than the NCR campaign and they are if I'm being fair but it's like eating one bowl of shit instead of three bowls of shit.

Even though Legion and Crusader paths are marginally better they are still stuffed to the brim with awful writing, horrible cringe "humor," and excessive pop culture references.

I really don't recommend The Frontier at all.

Wait for Miami or maybe Nuevo Mexico.

I've gave up midway when I tried Frontier (the "edited" version rather than the original shitshow) years ago, it was so bad. Wish someone ripped out the car scripted. I'll definitely wait for Miami, though I wish better projects for NV were in the making instead.

Legion and the Brotherhood resemble a proper Fallout campaign much more than the NCR campaign, and the Legion is by far the best written faction you can side with in the mod, although that's not saying much. What's interesting is that there is branching paths in this one: You can side with Legate, you can expose him to his men(not gonna spoil that one, it's a neat twist), and you can side with Rancor for an unconentional Game Over where both of you nuke the shit out of Vegas for giggles with the SHIELD helicarrier after nuking the Frontier. It's about as good of a campaign as you can expect from this mod.
Nuevo Mexico.
That one is cancelled at the moment, a tranny in their ranks had a little meltdown and deleted their social media presence, god only knows what else in the background. We can assume that one isn't coming out unless they make a big comeback video.

The NCR story line was so bad mainly because only one person made it, refused to show anyone, threatened to leave with his work if he had to, and when all was said and done he dumped a steaming pile of plagiarism onto the team and dipped anyway. Doesn't help the team didn't go "yeah alright we're not using this let's delay and get another writer." The other faction writers were slightly more competent from what little I saw...how the Legion writer didn't turn out to be a potential sex pest (looking at you America and her smelly feet and enslavement, fuckin' hell it's easier to count who wasn't a sex pest on that dev team) is beyond me. I'm curious of that Game Over, I can probably find it on YouTube.

Oh yeah...I forgot about that. Still not sure what happened exactly, nor how a single tranny sperging out can cause the entire mod to get shitcanned temporarily (I hope). It's definitely more in the background, I'm sure NoMutantsAllowed probably has more information.

Out of nearly 2 dozen playthroughs of New Vegas, I cannot bring myself to side with anyone other than NCR.

I can't side with the Legion, because the Legion is a faction of Nick Fuentes clones. They wear football pads and skirts. San Francisco is less faggoty than that.

I can't go independent, because I don't give a shit about the Strip or Outer Vegas riffraff. It only benefits niggers like the fiends and Khans.

Mr. House? Fuck him.

Say what you want about the bureaucrats and politicians of NCR. I side with them because I want to alleviate the burdens of the troops suffering under them, not because I care about Muh Democracy or anything.

I have gone with the independent ending a few times, but only after doing a lot to help the NCR. Like you, I want to help the average Joes patrolling the Mojave. Basically, what I do is genocide the Fiends and Khans, kill Caesar at the Fort, and take every anti-Caesar option in the main quest and DLCs (including nuking Dry Wells), then actually work on the main quest for Yes Man. I don't throw General Oliver off the Dam either, that's a dick move. I think the NCR ending is probably my favorite, but "benevolent independence" is a close second. I've never done a Mr. House or Legion playthrough because they suck.

You side with the Legion purely because it will destroy the NCR; whatever any of the factions intend to do with a scrap of desert is meaningless. For Control Station: Enclave, and Navarro. {111}{}{The Project is our salvation.}

Playing Old WorldBlues for the first time, and well i have mixed opinions on it, first I would like to clarify most of my negative thoughts are probably nitpicks or problems with my PC rather than the DLC itself.

The good things first:
  • I like the map its probably the most unique so far (I'm playing New Vegas for the first time)
  • The implants and shit are neat my Courier went from being a puny weakling to a cybernetic badass in a couple of quests.
  • I like how New Vegas DLCs are connected by an overarching storyline like slowly teasing Ulysses and even referrencinge Elijah
The bad (probably nitpicks I dunno):
  • The humor is pretty Reddit/MCU tier "keep your penis tipped feet away from me" only makes 13 year olds laugh.
  • Who the fuck thought that a nearly 30 min. conversation should be one's introduction to the DLC? seriously
  • This is likely an issue with my PC but the game has been crashing nearly every 5 minutes since I started this DLC and sometimes my character just randomly clips trough the floor and the only way to fix is to close the game, I dont' have that many mods since I'm playing TTW, but maybe this one is on me.

Regarding Fallout London, it can't be as bad as The Frontier right?
