Fallout series

Well unfortunately we're now getting some Frontier shit in FO London.

Two on rails shooter segments. They're not hard, every enemy is standing next to an explosive barrel but still are we seriously doing this shit again?

If the survival horror hallucination sequences start I'm dipping out of this mod.
The final mission is another space station assault but you pilot the Dr. Who police box.

I get your point, but after thinking about it, I could see maybe one or two troons being in Fallout; albeit in some extremely raunchy and debauched location, like Gomorrah or some Outer Vegas roach motel brothel. It is Sin City, after all.
@The handsome tard

You could have a deranged giga chad looking raider boss tranny who intimidates and threatens people to get them to 'affirm' him. I think older games would do something like that. But it'll never happen now. Could do the same with an FTM pooner serial killer.

He's not "wrong" per say, but I highly doubt it would be for tranny idealism but rather some fucked up experimentation given the rest of the levels.
Played through the EPA in RP, and it actually has something like 50% chance of failure and turns your char into plasma crit death animation. Suffice to say, there'd be more than 42% fatality rate.

Lily from New Vegas?
Don't talk shit about grandma.
NCR has fucked up problems but taking it from the POV of the courier at the time makes sense in a lot of ways. The NCR military is dysfunctional in its efforts in the Mojave but it also provides a lot of infrastructure, education, relief programs and capital to the region as a whole. House keeps the Strip orderly but his immediate ambitions don't stretch beyond that and he butts heads with the other minor factions to a very large degree with about as much leeway as Caesar. Caesar speaks a big game but every time you see the legion, they're wrecking everything in sight and they treat their women like shit. Independent is the most favorable option for advancing yourself and playing your cards right means that everybody involved the Mojave gets a truly new lease on life but then you're largely chained to New Vegas. As I take it, someone who wants to realize a grand ambition would go independent and someone who's more laidback could just let the NCR take over and keep doing jobs with them.
The legion's problem is they're misogynistic in a stupid way. Why have fertile women do back breaking grunt labour? They should be breeding soldiers. Leave the grunt labour to fuck ups.
Don't forget that you have to pay taxes now, AND you can be cancelled by a (((Brahmin Baron))) or a politician if you stop being a useful little shill for the Republic.
All you're doing is prolonging the inevitable. If NCR won't collapse under itself, then a psycho like Presper/Ulysses will eventually have enough and just nuke them. Not like they have a defense against that, even with how large they are. At least with the other endings you have something to work towards, even in the Independent path.
I side with the NCR for cynical reasons: they're building worthwhile infrastructure like railways and farms, and though I don't expect them to survive all that infrastructure can be repurposed once the regime falls, making life easier for the wastelanders who live in former NCR territories.

What is this wibbly wobbly timey wimey bullshit?

that's just really bad writing on obsidian's part
like, it's directly contradictory with their overall attitudes on women being useless for anything other than breeding and child-rearing
wop wop

I know everyone's become hypersensitive to pop culture references because of the Frontier and similar bad fan projects but I honestly don't have a problem with this one. It's a Fallout game set in London.

A small Easter egg referencing probably the most iconic piece of British pop culture is fine.

If there's a Tardis every two feet then yea that's a problem, but this? Who cares.

I don't actually mind the Tardis, just thought It was funny, but there are 15 at least on the map, there's even a misc quest tied to it.

I'm about 5 hours in and can't really say I've seen anything "Bad" yet, crashes and some minor glitches sure, but nothing terrible.
Made it to the British Imperial War Museum, it features some comically bad tank models.

(I know that one tank is actually from Fallout 4, but it too is comically bad so it fits.)
Also, for some reason, there is a Holocaust exhibit,

And the Hitler Youth,

And also a German Officer Uniform,

Sadly FOLON isn't based enough to let you run around in a SS Uniform, so its actually a GDR Uniform.

this retard literally made fallout into tarkov for no reason.
Ah, Bradyboy. He's good for some mod suggestions but taking anything more than that is just silly. He's one of those folks who likes Fallout 4 if it's nothing like Fallout 4 which I can respect. He leaves NV alone mostly so at least he knows that it's good enough not to mod to hell.

One thing that has pissed me off about the Fallout series is the innate need to use old music rather than music that would have been released around the time before the Nuclear Holocaust of 2077. I get it, it's expensive to have artists make music suited to the world of your game, but GTA fucking 2 did this right. I view American musicians in this world as being in a revival more than stagnating. Think of it as a 1980s/1990s production sound with a 1950s/early 1960s rhythm. Examples: Doo-wop New Wave, Rockabilly, alternative country, electric swing (not the sound of electric swing but using electric instruments), Instrumental music, Neo-Jazz, and early space-age surf. The Atomic-punk feel of the first games just gave me this sense of a Cold War Renaissance enjoyers that ignored what the culture would produce: a MAD situation.

He can be kinda amusing too when he spergs out about the firearm designs in 4, which I will be honest I have a love hate relationship with 4's firearms they are fucking terrible for the most part but there is also some charm to stuff like the sheer chonk of the 10mm and while I agree with him that the FO4 assault rifle is an ungodly abomination I personally feel like it circles around into being so goofy I kinda like it. I won't defend the design and would prefer if it was something serious like the Chinese AKs from 3 or even the AR platform rifles from NV but overtime the FO4 assault rifle grew on me.

Unfortunately you have to mod NV to hell to keep it from crashing.
Seriously, stability, bug fix and performance mods take up like 90% of my load order.

On the flip side at least NV runs buttery smooth and I haven't had a single crash, but that's the price you gotta pay.
