One of my favorite settings from the Stewie's Tweaks mod for New Vegas is the one that makes agility scale movement speed and jump height.
Jump height isn't really that useful in this game but in a game without mounts being able to increase your movement speed is a godsend. Honestly it makes me wish it was in the base game.
Granted you also don't become speedy gonzales like in Oblivion for instance because the agility limit is 10 but it still makes a difference in reducing the tedium of walking from point A to point B and that's enough for me.

I thought it already did? I got the impression that I move slower while wearing Medium/Power armor.

E: nvm it's actually the the fact that it's medium/heavy armor that affects run speed, not the AGL penalty.

Yeah in the base game the only things that change your movement speed are your armor, and whether you have a weapon out or not.
And even then they're pretty negligible differences.

Also I found a funny mod for a challenge run. Might actually try it at some point just to see how well it goes.
I could also combo it with some of the Stewie Tweaks settings like the one that makes moving during combat cost AP as well as opening your pip-boy during combat and such.

Could be fun to try. Basically the closest you can get to simulating the original combat system. Definitely not perfect but probably the closest you're going to get.

Alot of similar thoughts I've had about Fallout London have already been expressed here so I'll keep it brief; only played for about 10 hours or so but I'm finding it unlikey that I'll continue much further. The biggest issue for myself is the world building and design. I'm not sure if I'm playing events out if the intended order but anything that resembles is a settlement or populated area in this game has been lifeless so far.
Just made it fo the London EYE, big ass ferris wheel that looks like it's supposed to serve as a major settlement/trading area. Literally no one to actually talk to about this place or it's significance or what's going on. Just the same generic bark lines from the few people milling about and some traders to buy the same random shit from.

I suppose I've been spoiled with Tamriel Rebuilt being my first big mod project I became really invested in, and so many people were hyping up this as the Fallout equivalent.
But I suppose the main difference is if you show Tamriel Rebuilt to someone who really knows Morrowind, they wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and the main game. Fallout London you could spot the "mod" nature of it from a mile away

New Vegas is incapable of rendering textures larger than 2k in game so if you have any 4k or larger texture start by removing those since you won't be able to see them anyways.
Thanks for bringing up the reason as to why I hate a lot of weapon mods for New Vegas and only use tammers if bashed weapons, if I wanted 2k, 4k, poorly optimized textures constantly loaded on every weapon model stuttering the game everything I equip it I would just play classic fallout with every combat encounter taking more than a second to load lol.

Having listened enough to Ulysses' bullshit I decided to learn how to use GECK to be able to tell him to kill himself, felt more satisfying than putting a .50MG round in his head.

Honestly, I'm kind of happy to see these memes because it makes me realize I'm not the only one that never understood the praise Ulysses got.
He just fucking goes on and on and on for hours on end about bullshit nobody cares about. The worst part is that he repeats himself so much.
Even if this was all intentional it doesn't make him any less grating to deal with.

Ulysses doesn't have a point, he's just a schizo. Sure, officially he's supposed to be some sort of badass rival character of yours, or Avellone's own OC character that he uses as a mouthpiece, but as your character in this world that gets to listen to this complete overload of useless information from someone who claims this is all YOUR fault on account of you just doing your job, he's just a lunatic. My characters always justify going thru the DLC either to get the loot from the military bases or to stop him from launching nukes, kinda a hostage situation if you will. If he was supposed to be taken seriously, then Obsidian completely failed on that part. He's about as sane as that one guy in Fallout 3 that rigged a DC playground to explode a he shouts his schizobabble to a megaphone about giant worms and is keeping one other guy there against his will, except on a scale of an entire DLC.
The worst part is that the game doesn't let you tell Ulysses who your faction of choice really is, the game just kinda decides that for you in a really stupid way. When you're locked in, all you can really do is go along with it and be a good little boy for whomever the game thinks you're working for, or have this awkward "This is a big misunderstanding" blunder every single time you speak to Ulysses. It makes the whole thing even less coherent unless the stars align and you really do work for the NCR or Legion or whatever(House and Yes Man characters are usually out of luck unless both factions hate you or you never helped them). It gets better, every single one of the dusters actually has a unique effect and they're all powerful, so if the game chooses wrong then you're not just missing out on a cool cosmetic, you might be missing out on one of the best items for your build.

Honestly he reminds me of Kreia from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2, another Chris Avellone character hilariously enough.
On the first playthrough she might fool you into thinking she's this deep and wise character but on any subsequent playthrough where you're actually paying attention to the things she says and does you realize she's a complete fucking retard and it begins to annoy you every time she opens her fucking mouth at you.

Bravo, Avellone. 👏

Kreia is alright because she pokes holes thru the bullshit aspects of the Star Wars lore, like "The Force". I don't mind that she doesn't like anything I do because I don't care what she thinks. You fight her as a boss at the end anyways, so it's not like there is much point anyways.
Ulysses is just a moron who has an actual, unironic mental meltdown because you destroyed some shitty little town by accident. If it wasn't you, he would hold a blood feud over something else and follow that person to the ends of the earth. If he was a real person, Ulysses would definitely be a lolcow.
Speaking of which, there is a mod that lets him be your companion, if you want to live dangerously. Haven't tried it yet, but Ulysses was originally going to be a base game companion, acting as one of the few Legion sympathetic companions and being a walking faction soundboard, letting you know what's going on and what to expect from the current situation and advising you on what you should do(and of course, judging you every step of the way). I wonder if he's anything like that in this mod or if he's back to ranting about the BULL AND THE BEAR anytime you encounter either faction.

Honestly I think it's because you're forced to listen to her ramble for the entire fucking game is why I found her so particularly annoying on a second playthrough.

:story:

Honestly as autistic as it is, I do find it fun sometimes to imagine which characters would be lolcows were they to exist in reality.
I always imagined for instance Caesar would definitely be one. Especially considering his entire gimmick is the fact that he's actually a retard who doesn't know what he's talking about but is able to use his little charisma to trick even bigger retards into thinking he's some kind of genius.
Couple that with the fact that he gets comically pissed off any time he so much as smells disloyalty and I honestly think he would be a ragecow like Ethan.
Ironically he kind of reminds me of Ethan, I imagine he'd probably do similar things to him, waxing about muh loyalty before immediately backstabbing someone for petty reasons.
He strikes me as the type who hates not being taken seriously, so he'd probably hate the idea of a bunch of people online laughing at him.

That being said imagining Ulysses starting petty feuds with people over the dumbest shit is a funny one.

I think Mr. House himself would have some potential to be a lolcow too with how he flips his lid on you when you try to leverage the platinum chip against him. Ranting about how rich and cool he is.
EDIT: Nevermind actually. It was early in the morning when I wrote that, I'm a retard. Mr. House is probably the hardest character to troll considering how much he can tolerate your character's shenanigans.

I also have to mention, No-Bark would definitely be one of those shizo cows who is mostly harmless and you honestly might feel a little bad for him listening to him ramble all day about insane bullshit. You might even want to see him somehow recover since there is a glimmer of sanity in there considering some of the things he says aren't entirely untrue. They're just tainted by Noonan being a schizo.

Eh, House is too reclusive to be a lolcow. Plus, the Platinum Chip is his life's work and it's right there. I'd be upset, too.

With the amount of money No-Bark blows on Caravan (up to 2000 caps!) he definitely has the spending habits of a lolcow.

Arcade would be a lolcow. He's a pseud with no self-awareness and no foresight (The White Wash). And he's a literal faggot.

Fair. I guess it's a good thing he stays up in his tower.
Beyond that though he does also have an incredibly high tolerence for your own shenanigans and almost never gets pissed off beyond that, so nevermind. It was early in the morning when I wrote that, I guess I wasn't thinking it through enough.

Arcade is a faggot and a FAGGOT.

I'm pretty sure his caps regenerate too so he's also a really good source of easy money if you have the cheese deck.
Honestly reminds me of Bossman, dude somehow gets his hands on 2000 caps every couple of days and then is reckless enough to lose it all on a game of caravan five minutes later.

Honestly, I'd watch No-Bark streaming himself losing at Caravan.

"Ah fuck man, I just fucking lost it all to some courier fuck, man. Fuck my life, dude." :lossmanjack:
Maybe that's the reason why he's homeless. Because he always just pisses his caps away like that.

He also very much wanted to fuck his hoover lol.
