Seems new Vegas's fallout 2 remake is chugging along.

Discord has pictures of new Reno, the vaults, etc. looks like most of the main stuff getting somewhat done. They even got the end game oil rig

Last ones the oil rig.

It's alot more shown than what the "project arroyo" for 4 has shown.

I ain't posting all of em. There's 341 400 of em I'll give you the discord link if you wanna see it all.

Use the "guess that place" channel to see it.
This looks promising. Bummed that V13 for Fallout 4 got cancelled, but maybe we can get a proper Fallout 2 remake sometime soon.
Fallout 1 remake? Not so much. The Fallout 1 remake for New Vegas also similarly died out after a couple of Betas. That one was VERY dedicated to it's source material, 1-1 recreation of maps(even if they did feel weird in 3D without any alterations), a similar world map system where "the avatar" of the character moved thru a world map like a chesspiece and the game would load you into random encounters, ect.

Fallout 1 remake?
I'm not.

A: it was probably tranny owned and that's why it fell apart in the first place

And B Nobody cares about 1 that much really. 1 is it's own detached story it's 100 years earlier than the rest of the series

If this comes out we'll eventually get a "tale of three wastelands"

That goes 2 then 3 then new Vegas.

Start as the chosen one. Have a kid, name him James, James has the lone wanderer, then the wanderer becomes the courier.

1 can never have that. And that's why there's more traction on 2 remakes and why 1 always falls apart.

Tom Howard has such an ego on him that he won't let Leonard bernardsky Tim kaine Chris avalone who all aren't doing anything right now to work on a fallout game you know why because it would be a masterpiece and it would prove that Todd doesn't know what he's doing when it comes to fallout and he never has and it would show the whole world that he's a massive hack
Some very impressive autism. Can you ask your handlers to teach you about punctuation and how to not let trivial shit hurt your ass so much?

The Fallout 4: New Vegas team are woke furries/fags though.
The faggotry got so big the Fallout Capital Wasteland mod team cut ties with them and decided to make Project Mojave as a big "fuck you".
Project Mojave died the moment Bethesda hired their lead devs (to intentionally kill the project).

Project Mojave just got canned, as @Would predicted before.

After 3 years and a handoff to a new team, the ambitious Project Mojave mod imagining New Vegas in the time of Fallout 4 has ceased development

The Bethesda game total conversion is a difficult path not for the faint of heart.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=ePgoin_LR_Mhe finally finished his video on making fun of the fallout TV show you can skip the first 3 outputs the unnecessary to watch
I've already went through this video almost 4 different times because I have it playing in the background at all times. Been waiting for it to come out for months. Creetosis is right about everything he says about the show.

Not surprised. The whole reason this mod even exists is because people got tired of all the delays and drama within F4: NV tranny infested servers. A few talented modders said "hold my beer" and released a working proof-of-concept quickly to show much the F4:NV could have already released themselves if they weren't busy dilating all the time. I hope that we got an entire Mojave to play around with in F4 someday, not even quest wise but being able to explore it and create settlements within it is enough.

That already exists. A modder called Cadaver released a mod that lets you explore the Mojave wasteland in the crudest/buggy way, but still better than nothing.

F.
I had hoped against hope I'd be wrong. Ah well.

It's on a discord server thats popular with f4 modders. Google "NP3" and a working invite link should come up.
You will have to scour to find it though.
I don't go on discord. Is there a link somewhere else?
Better yet, is there a point to it or is it yet another proof of concept mod like PM?

It's mostly a vanity project the modder had to shut people up about "how hard" porting is, proving all you need is basic enthusiast knowledge and free time.
The map is empty, has no footstep sounds, and no LODs... but then again he did it in like 2 days and Fallout 3 one week later.
He welcomed anyone to finish the job but no one wanted to actually put in the work, so it's just a novel way to kill an hour or so, akin to the old days when modders like NTAuthority ported GTA IV's map into San Andreas or GTA V's map into GTA IV (though those ports lacked shaders but had car navs).

Everyone: Use Reshader, it makes the game looks so good!!111!!

Me: Fiiiiine, Im gonna do it. *installs it*

F3: *black screen once I click continue*

Me: Odd...Didnt even put any shaders yet. Maybe I gotta start a new game *does so*

F3: *black screen after the opening cutscene*

Me: Okay, this is starting to get annoying. I will just turn my computer off and on. *does so*

F3: *black screen*

Me: Alright, fuck this. At least FNV will work?

FNV: *black screen all the same*

So yeah, unless someone has a solution, I will just not use reshader as both games run just fine when I uninstall it. Its not like Im playing for fancy graphics or anything.

You don't need anything but Fellout for Fallout 3, it's still available for Fallout New Vegas but there is much better options at this point. I think I am using something called "realistic weather and lighting" or whatever for TTW, all I know is that it preserves the look of Mojave while removing the green tint of Capital Wasteland while adding in rain, removing the eternal smoke/cloud over Pitt and Sierra Madre while giving certain areas their own weather effects(snow in Mt Charleston and upper area of Capital Wasteland, Tundra in Operation Anchorage, ect.). The only problem I have with it is that it has a broken perk that is supposed to make you immune to the negative effects of the weather(usually it impacts agility, sneak or perception if there is a heavy rainstorm)
For Fallout 4 I do indeed use Reshader, altho I never had any problems with it. Then again, I only use it to make nights actually dark so I don't think I used anything too fancy.

Just use an ENB like a normal person, Fo3 and NV run on toasters, there's no way the performance gains from using reshade are worth it.

Yeah, you are both right and thats what I do but I saw niggas saying how Reshader was the bomb for years and all and thus felt the need to try it out since Im starting to mod F3/NV again.

Oh well, maybe it was a blessing in disguise.
