This sums how how I feel about the Legion leaks and how much worse the discourse surrounding them has the potential to get. At least I'll have men in skirts to ogle.

I genuinely don't even care about the leaks. I already know how awful and predictable this will be from the first season.
This means nothing, as we established TV lore doesn't matter and what Todd says doesn't matter either. At worst, we will see a bunch of normalfags flood New Vegas related spaces for a couple of weeks, before they realize the game is too hard for them and the community is filled with the biggest spergs on the internet from both sides of the spectrum. Trannies tried to claim the game as theirs, they failed, normalfags aren't autistic to even give it a go and will get filtered out.
Same happened with Fallout 4, except that Todd in his infinite wisdom put out that horrid patch that ruined the game and broke all the mods at the exact same time, so when the game had the biggest surge of traffic it had since launch people literally could barely even play it.

I WISH trannies weren't still everywhere when trying to talk about the game. But yeah, the show was never good. I do enjoy it due to the acting and practical effects but if I try to think of it as connected to the games my brain has a autistic brain bleed.

I am also biased from a Legion poster perspective, for some reason fandom at large are incredibly hostile towards anyone who creates Legion centred content. It's incredibly annoying at times and I do not doubt that period of show-only tourists learning about them will make it a LOT more obnoxious for that period

Most of them are Bethesda fanboys and play Bethesda titles like Fallout 4/76. A small majority infects the New Vegas fandom, much like other politispergs, altho there is an effort to make it look much worse than it is because said Bethesda troons hate New Vegas(and classic games by association). Same trannies also hate all Legion content btw.
Just like with the TV show, it's simply not worth giving them attention, nor it it worthwhile to entertain the /v/ shitposters who want to meme Fallout 3 as the superior game.

I have to admit I was tempted to try 76 solely because playing as a ghoul is now a thing but it's not worth the headache of the horrendous gameplay or giving Todd my money. I'll just go back to another playthrough of Tactics if I want to play a ghoul in a shitty game so bad.

It's a toothless gimmick, to the point where pretty much no-ingame quests are changed since "The NPC doesn't recognize that you're a ghoul!" and forces you to wear a "disguise" at most. You are better off installing a playable ghoul mod for NV or F4.

Seriously? It doesn't even actually impact the game beyond some stats? That's ridiculous. If you're going to make so many advertisements and wave your dick around for adding playabe ghouls you should at least make it an ACTUAL alternate gameplay route.

There was a brief period where it was pretty fun after they added NPCs and fixed some things but they fucked it up again quicker than they fixed it in the first place.

It makes sense in context of the story. Frank is a fanatic, he won't listen to your arguments, he just wants to take you with him as he goes down with the ship (or oil rig in this case). And you still eliminate him without ever hitting him.

Story structure in F1 and F2 is very similar - you embark on a quest to find some McGuffin, you explore the world to find it, during your quest you discover a great threat and take it down in the second half of the game.

For Auld Lang Syne is a great quest and does more to develop Enclave as a faction than entire F3.
It also gives you backstory for that downed vertibird in Klamath in F2.

Do tell? First and last time I played it was during COVID and I didn't get far into it enough to form any criticisms.

If you want to learn about history of Fallout 76(and why it sucks on a fundamental level, not just in execution) you should watch Private Sessions and PatricianTV videos on the game
I forget who covers what, but they basically played the entire story mode, after all the updates(at that point in time) in co-op. One is a companion video for the other, I'm gonna let you see for yourself just how quickly they fucked things up after Wastelanders.

Towards the late game you get pretty overpowered with mutations and some cool legendaries, get your build figured out and it just felt good to go around with your friends or even solo and explore, dive into the lore etc. Then they added level-scaling and made everything a bullet sponge, nerfed the builds that were the most fun to play and removed the OP legendary effects on certain weapons from the game, which did make some of the events better but was kind of a slap in the face.

You know what, a MGS-styled game starring the reunited Remnants would be actually pretty cool... Judah Kreger needs an eyepatch, stat.
