Its just stupid to have multiple moth men when there should only be one anyway.
Yeah, like I said he should be used as a background element or part of the lore rather than an actual in-game enemy. Altho if we're going to discuss all the game's flaws, there is much, much more pressing ones. PatricianTV and PrivateSessions both did a fantastic series of videos on this topic that cover pretty much everything. If modding tools were released, I think modders would have already fixed the game's worst elements, writing and lore inconsistencies included, but that's not happening obviously.
but the G11 and CAWS are obscure
G11 is anything but obscure, CAWS definitely is mostly remembered for this game. Kind of redundant too, it serves little purpose when Pancor Jackhammer exists(at least you get it much earlier in Tactics so that you get a few missions worth of mileage out of it there).

People will legitimately claim that House was just straight up lying to you as if his entire character isn't built up as a very blunt and unashamed man who sees deception as a waste of time and prefers to force everything to be a strict, straightforward contract.

Thats the argument they are using and it shocks me to the fucking core how accepting they are of a blatant retcon.

They ask themselves "Would it make sense?" and I guess its not IMPOSSIBLE that Mr House lied to you (its just extremely unlikely and out of character) but they should instead ask "Does this make the plot of the show and NV's better?" and the answer is "no" because it doesnt improve the setting, nor the narrative, nor characters involved.

Retcons arent necessarily a BAD thing, they can work if they are able to not only be inserted in a mostly natural way but that they "re-contextualize" (thus the term "retcon") things that were and are positively. Retcons have a bad rep because, more often than not, they are used by hack writers to excuse inconsistent writing and Bethesda aint a stranger to that even to their own lore (if I mentioned the retcons of TES, we'll be here all day).
And then there's the Brotherhood of Steel. How can an organization like that function, and continue to exist in the post-Apocalypse when they are run by complete morons, and apparently every single member is suffering from clinical levels of brain retardation?

Its like the BOS gets worse and worse under Bethesda, it almost makes me wish the days where the biggest problem with the BOS is that they were acting more benevolent (which wasnt that bad even back then but I digress).

Then they made BOS into a bunch of try hards and get worse by the appearance.
But don't you see? Caesar is based. He wants to put women back in the kitchens and make them cook him meals. Isn't that based? He wants to capture women in villages and turn them into wives. Isn't that based? Us single men who have suffered from lookism are finally going to have a chance to repopulate the mojave with our misunderstood superior white genes by breeding all the white women who have embraced their natural gravitation towards degradation. Isn't that based? It's fucking based dude. He's going to make us hate niggers and oppress the minorities.

Its not much of a case of Caesar being right but people enjoyed how much of a three dimensional villain he was along with his backstory. You can find a villain interesting and engaging without agreeing with them.

Unlike today where we get villain motivations that are a variation of "Look, Im evil, just kill me"

That's a blessing in disguise, quoting the blatantly fake, contradictory TV show lore will out you as someone who doesn't play the games, therefore someone who can easily be ignored. I don't see the normalfags/tourists who only stick around for the TV show ever caring enough to play video games, let alone be around the fandom to any degree, but the minority who both play games and watch the TV show will be very annoying. Unsurprisingly, they are mostly Bethesda fans(Fallout 4/76) so far from my experience, and yes they are some of the most awful Bethesda fanboys I have ever had the displeasure to meet in the recent years. The only blessing here is that this particular subsection of the fanbase will not be very large, and will only become active around the time a new season airs, I guess it's a blessing in the same sense when you catch an STD but it decides to flare up and go away at random times: You still have it no matter what, but at least it gives you breaks between the suffering.

Anyways, the annoying part is that the wiki will retcon the articles relevant to the TV show, like they did during Season 1, so hope you enjoy those being a clusterfuck going forward. Thankfully, the old wiki(before the current one moved over to Fandom) is archived, so we still have the articles from how they were from around 4-6 years ago, but new fans who want to read up on lore will be very confused.

They should do Fallout 4.5 by releasing Fallout 76 as a stand-alone game.

The really hilarious part in the whole tragedy is that Bethesda took one random encounter in FO2, that was parodying Monty Python and the Holy Grail, itself a parody already, and raped the whole BoS lore with it.

Replayed honest hearts the other day and i always hated the outcome for follows chalk quest being either he goes out into the wastes only to seemingly die/lose desire to keep in touch with his tribe or just staying in zion.

Honestly the whole dlc is a bit of a wash outside of the main plot

Do note, this is the man that has spent 40+ pages in endless debates with people he "doesn't care what they think."
I enjoy how hard you sweep for Creetosis, since the instant he has a opinion you disagree with you'll turn on him like you did Synth.
This reminds me actually. Norzan on NMA hates Bethesda with the power of a million Redditors, autistic levels of hatred for the company and their games. Alot of his views sync up with Creetosis and his takes, albeit in an even more hostile way. Lo and behold what happened when Creetosis enjoyed the Oblivion remaster.

I see Creetosis fell for Todd's hypnosis. I expect a 20 minute, concise, and non-autistic video called "Fallout 3 isn't actually bad" in 2 weeks. Trust the Plan, Bethesdchads.

What else did you expect when that was his only problem to solve?

You could have stopped at "A NMA poster holds normal opinions for the forum" and elaborated no further to deliver the same information.

I mean, I don't think Druckmann's view is irrelevant, but he's clearly changing directions from the TLoU ending after he got free reign. The first game's ending is purposely made to be ambiguous on that front and makes you question if the Fireflies can be trusted, they acted shady (they were ready to leave Joel for dead), aggressive (they had no plans to honour their deal with Joel and get mad at him for not leaving straight away and asking about the girl he spent all this time traveling with) and notes build up some hints that they might not even be able to create the cure. The second game sanitizes them to try and make Abby more sympathetic.
Druckmann actually pulled a massive retcon as far back as the PS4 remaster of The Last of Us.

In the original PS3 game, in the university during the Autumn section, there is a locked oor in one of the labs that has a second locked door inside it. Most people either won't have the two shivs needed to open both doors, or won't want to use the resources up, so few people opened the second door.

Inside the second locked room, there was a recorder that has the notes of a scientist who says they've found dozens of immune individuals and killed them to try to find out how to make a cure, with absolutely no progress made. He also posits that there's no point to continuing to try. This make's Joel's choice in the end a lot less selfish, as honoring the promise to take Ellie to the Fireflies will just end up with her added to the list of people killed in a vain hope of a cure.

No release of the first game after the original PS3 version has that recorder in it.

At least according to Honest Hearts the US was already occupying the Yangtze River delta and campaigning in the Gobi Desert meaning they were in the process of taking large parts of Northeastern and Eastern China.
You don't even need Honest Hearts. Both the Yangtze Memorial and the Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle are in the base game. The old Fallout Bible even goes so far as to mention that once the T-51b started getting deployed to China entire platoons would surrender at the sight of them taking the field.

we've been through this that isnt true

And thats the reason I believe that when Fallout 5 releases god knows when its undeniable that people are going to shit on it even if its everything they claimed to have wanted, Ive played Fallout 4 it isn’t a genocide of the setting like people claim it is I think if these purists had their way it would still be a complicated isometric crpg with all the 1999 clankiness imaginable

The people who hate Bethesda are so autistic and annoying it makes me defend them, despite agreeing with many of their points. To this fucking day they cannot stop seething about Fallout 3 and 4. Their personality is "BETHESDA BAD RUINED GAMING".

Considering that after Fallout 4 the direction Bethesda took the franchise was "Fallout 4 multiplayer mod that does not satisfy either Fallout 4 players or MMO players" I would say an isometric CRPG would be an improvement. It would be an actual RPG, for a start.

We've been over this before, if it's so easy for you to change your mind then you never had an opinion at all. You're a retarded NPC and next week you will change your mind again, your opinion doesn't matter.

I wonder what the metrics for his videos are. It will be really funny if his video does better than the one Synthetic Man released, his own 10 minute Season 2 trailer video he had a melty about bombing.

Cree can make good vids whenever he isnt talking about the fallout show, fallout 3 or fallout 4.
If hes talking about new vegas or a shitty mod like the frontier he can make a pretty good and entertaining video but once he starts talking about bethesda fallout its just talking in circles and hitting the same dead horses for multiple hours.
This is the same dude who already had an 8 hour video explaining why fallout 3 was bad in response to a many a true nerd video and then put out a 6 hour video just a few days ago, actual retardation.
