Reminds me i'm playing FNV right now with a melee build 'cus i fucking hate everyone and the crits from Elijah's Ramblings is so good.

Mechanics and story make a game in that order with anything else is just extra. Also the death of more in depth systems in the fallout games post NV is lamentable. I don't know why we couldn't have gotten a marriage between the better combat and in depth skill and perks.
 
I wanted to mention that one of the creations listed for fallout 4 seems to be a direct ripoff of the nv bounties mod, im starting to think fallout london is the closest we have had to original in a while, and thats even pushing it.

I feel the best mods flesh themselves into the world naturally are the best why I'm excited for the Long 15 mod and that mod direction is what should be aimed for instead of making you a badass in the story.

That's a little unfair to Someguy2000. He created the Bounties trilogy as a solo dev.

This is a holotape based fetch quest that doesn't even have voice acting and waa created by guys making 200k a year at a Microsoft owned corporation.

Also Someguy2000 are very clearly early mods though I quite love, King of the Ring adding an unarmed arena is something that makes Westside area feel more fleshed out.
 
wow, just found some weird stuff while continuing my search for a fallout 2 demo/prototype
a disc on internet archive labeled "Fallout Radioactive - Fallout The Ultimate Collection Bonus CD"
includes some interesting stuff if you're bored, i tried searching the name of the disk online and havent seen really any recent discussion anywhere. Some of the promotional art is quite high quality, the image below is at a nearly 4k res

Get the katana from GRA, that carried me through 85% of my level 5-10 playthrough of lonesome road so i could get the spade duster.

So mr house ending is officially canon it seems.

Season 2 could be a massive pile of shit but seeing the implications that the house ending will lead to improvements for freeside is a point in its favor.
