Fallout series

Real Answer, I would really just play the base mod. OC DONUT STEEL is going to be a factor in any submod for OWB and even OWB itself just due to how lacking fallout lore is in areas, and also the difference in needs for a game like HOI4 as opposed to the Fallout games. You are never going to bypass that issue.
Thanks chap
Baseline OWB is not too bad honestly , i was just wondering if there was anything to add that je ne sais quoi.
Apparently not unless you really like the game to become a broken unplayable mess with vassals suddenly turning into other factions and "press to win" focii.

Thanks chap

I would recommend checking out some of the submods that change/update the GFX for techs and such, as those aren't going to suffer from the press to win issue.

There is a mod that gives every doctor a custom face wihtout gooner or fetarded shit. It works with viva las vegas.

One thing that I found when looking through the files until 3am was that they absolutely planned to have big guns be a skill, there's a magazine for the big guns skill, 2 cut big gun weapons, a missile launcher unique and a fat man unique, still have to confirm on the fat man one that it's not just an early Esther. For sure a cut missile launcher unique though. Even one of the cut loading screens include a high resolution image for the big guns magazine.

How the fuck is barely anyone talking about the prototype leak?!
The video showing off the leak still has only 37k views on a channel with fewer than 2k subscribers.
Nobody is talking about it because nobody knows about it.
Heh, well, except us.
True gamers.
I wouldn't have known about it either if it wasn't for this thread.

Wait, do you see anything pertaining to the Heavy Rail Cannon, Riveter, Laser CBW or General Purpose Machine Gun? I recall those cut weapons being the ones with the most remaining content. Also do you have the images for the cut loading screens/magazines?

I remember Sawyer saying something about them cutting Big Guns because it felt too forced especially in the early game. I always though that happened earlier so it's weird to see it remained so late into development.

Also this tool should be extremely helpful for anyone who wants to look at the textures in the files: DDXConv (nexus)

I'm still at work but I'll try to post more stuff when I get home, I'm in a discord with the person who made the texture tool you're talking about. Wish I didn't have to use discord bit sadly forums are a nearly dead medium. The problem that's the biggest to solve at the moment is cracking the .esm file from the July build. It doesn't open in anything except if you just dump it into the vanilla fnv files. Yes you can read some scripts as plain text but it doesn't help when the file is fucking massive and the reference id's are sometimes garbled. One change you can immediately notice is that even when you put the esm into vanilla fnv some changes are still not present, for example at the abandoned nuclear test site there's a radioactive tumble weed that can spawn in both versions, however if you check it on the July build it also spawns 4 more ghouls than the base game even with the esm placed within vanilla fnv. Yes I'm aware this is confusing and probably not coherent. I'm also completely out of my depth when it comes to fnv scripting so even I could be wrong and everyrhing I'm saying could be speculative, the best we can do is just cross reference to death or wait until someone develops the tools necessary to look at the big picture.

Tldr this shit is a big puzzle and half the pieces are still missing.

This is the first time im rolling with him but i cant get over how bad Arcade vo really is
The people who direct voice actors are usually awful and lazy. If they any had talent they'd be making movies or television shows. Everything from Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, Grand Theft Auto, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout, have all had terrible voice acting from otherwise competent actors and actresses. The lines from Oblivion were infamously not even recorded properly as they have outtakes and background noise in lots of them.

New Vegas has a lot of strong and great performances. But a ton of mediocre or just downright ridiculous character voices as well.

I wasnt happy in helping the Gomorrah faggots so i went back and helped Cachino. This is after wiping out Caesars camp again with my boy Boone.
Did the Arcade quest and did the correct order to install yes man without pissing off the ncr
Also i had to go back to fix whatever the fuck happened to ED-E.

Fallout New Vegas is without a doubt my favorite game ever and its a shame we will never have something as cool again

I'm doing a melee build in New Vegas for pretty much the first time an all the years I've played the game. I'm also doing a completely vanilla game for the first time in years. I like to hold off playing the story quests until after doing (some) side quests and getting items from freeside or gunrunners. I was getting absolutely wrecked and almost gave up on doing melee until I got the Katana (GRA) and 75 points in melee. There are still some scenarios I've had to pull out a gun like doing the 3 bounties quest at camp mccarren, or killing enemies that are standing on the cliffs in zion park.
