The only raw release that works nowadays is the GoG one. There are also other hurdles to overcome if you're running Win11 or one of the Win11 builds masquerading as Win10 if i recall.

Nope, hasn't since October 2021. Once people finally got their shit re-patched they fucked it a second time mid-2024, even the GOTY version. I think that last one even broke the TTW installer if you're running an older (read: not-fanfictioned) version of it.

Whilst I'm able to define wokeness and know how exactly you arrive at something as being woke under the scope of critical theory, being able to point that out is worthless to people who'll reduce your complaints to being "black person = bad" and that's what outside observers will see. I disagree FNV is woke because wokeness is intolerant by nature, so having gays alongside an anti-gay faction that you can join cannot mesh is straight up incompatible; however you can only meet intolerance with intolerance so having a one drop rule with woke content and writing it off thereafter is pretty much a necessity when it comes to a lot of modern content in order to kill it faster.

I've always taken that Cass ending as her drunkenly seeing the Courier as just an NCR soldier after all the shit he did for them, the destroyed barracks bit and him being in seemingly the Courier's room on the Dam at night makes it a bit too specific. The timeline of the endings makes it so that the Courier later gets an award from the NCR and Cass' slide takes place right after the 2nd battle, so the Courier can't be gone mysteriously before then.
