The various towns are meant to be the way you explore the world. Moira sends you all throughout the wasteland for her survival guide. Little Lamplight forces you to go to Paradise Falls, in which you either fight them or take on their quest which directs you to Big Town, Tenpenny Tower, and/or Rivet City. All of which have their own quests. I think the issue is that most locations aren't tied to a quest and are primarily combat/loot zones. However, side activities such as the bobbleheads and Nuka Cola Quantum require you to go out of your way and search for those one-off locations for possible rare items.

Still the design language for F3 is rather flawed being carried hard by the art direction of Adam Adanawitz. His death is why we have the Jetsons art direction that feels like a parody of fallout.

PatricianTV, a long format video essay channel mostly known for his ridiculous 20 hour analysis of Skyrim and 8 hour analysis of Starfield, has apparently rode a bike from LA to DC, visiting the major Fallout locations on the way. This is noteworthy as I believe this is the very first video of it's kind that covers Fallout Tactics, which takes place in the MidWest(Chicago to Colorado and everything inbetween).

As far as I know, this kind of video was popularized by a far left youtuber Noah Caldwell, who took a similar trip to the west and east coast locations in his vehicle:

Better safe than sorry, it's 30+ Game Overs afterall.
Don't strain yourself, I don't pay attention to what redditors say, hence why I don't post in this thread much

Edit: I am watching Patrician's 8 hour Starfield epic again(to wash out the taste of some awful, unstructured slop video linked in the Starfield thread), and I was just reminded that Fallout 4 was specifically designed with so little choices and consequences, as well as so few dialogue choices, on purpose both because Bethesda fans are this stupid and need guidance and because what they did with Fallout 3, ie freedom of choice and consequences from doing so, was "too much work". And that was the game that already had a dozen immortal NPCs and a linear main quest. Can't ever forget Todd and his little merry band of morons are a bunch of hacks, I guess, thank goodness Fallout 5 will never come out at this rate.

Are you retarded?
You mean why I am watching an 8 hour long video? I don't have ADHD like you, I am guessing. Or low IQ that prevents me from understanding any of his points like with you, I am also working so it's a nice bit of background noise. Again, something you're probably not familiar with, having a job and all. The Fallout videos from him I linked, combined, are over 8 hours long, so I don't see the issue, except for in the context where you're a retard that made yet another useless post nobody needed to see.

Wait, this is a Fallout thread and we haven't had a breakdown of that yet? Sounds like you, brave Kiwi, have just volunteered to do the needful.
I have to read the whole thing but I remember the fic has lots of rape, lesbianism, and gore. It's mostly inspired by Fallout 3 and is full of talking horse puns.

I'll bring back some choice bits later. I think there's even an entire erotica chapter if I remember right. Very stereotypical brony shit.

Implied, explicit, surprisingly tame given the source material of Chunky Salsa but still present.
Also the erotica chapter is written by someone else upon inspection and thus can be safely ignored for everyone's sanity.

Listen, Fallout Equestria is not "half bad" it is "full bad" with the only thing maybe elevating above My Immortal being the fact that the guy formatted it halfway decently. Don't make me go full autism on this I beg you.
The only way to enjoy fallout equestria is if you were a former brony and nothing else. If you ever see a fallout fan recommend it they are too autistic to understand that, especially since friendship is magic isn't on the air anymore and ponies aren't everywhere already anymore.

Trust me when i say that it'd be more fit for the lolcow thread it's related to than to here.
Especially where the writer went afterwards. Eugh.
Okay, now there definitely needs to be a critique of the story about the one-headed horse people wearing the Battle Saddles (which you must beware, but never fear).
