I miss fallout new Vegas, i kinda wish that another fallout game would come out taking place there but i doubt that would ever happen. And there would be no real reason for that to happen, idk i just really enjoyed NV the most out of all of the fallout games and i just want to see more of it.
Replay it. Go on, you know you want to.

I dunno why but Lorenzo Cabot cracked me up. His son was going on about how he'd be unstoppable if he got loose, then as soon as he leaves I follow him and an Alpha Deathclaw comes out and impales him. I thought he was super powerful?

Almost two months since the last post? Ah, well, better time than any to post here, I suppose.
My history with Fallout started back with 3, since I was a console sorta guy growing up.
From there I played New Vegas, and eventually I did get to playing 1 in 2016 or so.
Now, about 5 or so days ago, I beat Fallout 1.
9.0/10.
Deep down, it feels like I should have gave it a 8.5 instead, but something about it made me give it a 9. X-Factor or something akin. I'm now 30+ hours into 2, and while it is certainly more sillier, I don't mind. It's been 80 years since the last game, why wouldn't it be?
Anyways, I'm going to wrap this little essay up with this anecdote; I find it silly how people back in '08 on NMA gave Fallout 3 crap, saying it railroaded you and such, that there wasn't any choice. Well, after playing and beating 1, and getting 30+ hours into 2; that's complete bull. Fallout 1 is easily the most railroaded game in the series I've played so far, and that isn't a bad thing, mind you. But, you NEED to go to Shady Sands. You NEED to go to Vault 15. You NEED to go to the Raider's Base otherwise you'll have nothing to barter with. And in regards to choices, 3 had just as much? It's always been 1: Kill everything. 2: Negotiate. Possibly 3: Other solution. That isn't a bad thing, once again. I just find it funny how the people there figured these things mattered so much, when their sacred cow; the only one they don't rag on about, did exactly these things. I still appreciate the patches though, and hell, Killap seems like a cool guy. I mean, he bothered to have the F3 Pip-Boy serve as a overlay for the restoration site.

I just finished 2 different play throughs New Vegas. I forgot how stellar the writing is in that game. It maybe on par with Fallout 2’s writing. Chris Avellone needs to come back to the series.

Yeah he just needs to stay away from any author inserts that talk way too much about animals, numbers and separations.

Both current Bethesda and Obsidian would force him to have a Hamburger Helper tier assistant to moderate his opinions. He'd be better off shitting out an Indie title.

I just have a hankering to play some NV and listen to jingle jangle jingle as I obliterate the fuck out of some raiders heads with the Gobi campaign rifle.
