Fallout series

Can I get a quick rundown on House?
>The Enclave bows to House
>In contact with Mothership Zeta
>Possess psychic-like abilities
>Controls the Mojave with an iron but fair fist
>Owns casinos and factories globally
>Direct descendant of the prewar industrial tool magnates
>Will bankroll the first cities on Mars (Housegrad will be be the first city)
>Own 99% of casinos on Earth
>First designer synths will in all likelihood be House synths
>Said to have 215+ IQ, such intelligence on Earth has only existed deep in the Los Angeles Vault
>Ancient Indian scriptures tell of an angel and his messenger who will descend upon Earth and will bring an era of enlightenment and unprecedented technological progress with them
>He owns Securitron Armies around the world
>You likely have Securitrons guarding you right now
>House is in regular communication with the Courier, forwarding his word to the Mojave. Who do you think set up the meeting between Victor & the Courier (Ensuring the Platinum chip would be found) and arranged the Courier's first trip to the Lucky 38 since the bombs dropped literally a few days later?
>He prepared for nuclear war in under a week
>Casinos entrust their gold reserves with the him. There's no gold in the Sierra Madre, only the Lucky 38
>He is about 26 decades old, from the space-time reference point of the base human currently accepted by our society
>In reality, he is a timeless being existing in all points of time and space from the big bang to the end of the universe. We don't know his ultimate plans yet. We hope he's a benevolent being.

I think the next time I play New Vegas I'm going to go down either the House or NCR path. The game I'm currently playing is the Yes Man path and I've got pretty much everything else done aside from the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. I've been kinda dragging my heels getting to the last mission, trying to find anything else to do, because I've really enjoyed this play through and the build I've made.

That's us and WE RULE.

Playing through TTW again and good fucking god whoever programmed the Albino Radscorpions is a fucking cunt. Things are imbalanced as fuck and not fun to fight.
Regular Radscorpions have 150 health. Giant Radscorpions have 350 health. But Albino Radscorpions for some fucked up reason have 1500 health, second only to a Super Mutant Behemoth who have 2000 health.

Goddamn makes the game annoying after level 20, so I'm gonna find a mod to rebalance that shit.

Are you actually having difficulty with Fallout 3 content? There's so much broken shit that's available for you to use once you get past a certain point. Metal Blaster, The Terrible "Get Fucked, Literally Everything" Shotgun, melee dabber dart guns, Chinese Stealth Armor + Perforator Easy Mode combo, Lincoln's Admittedly Not Quite as Broken Rifle, and your bare fists with maxed Iron Fist ranks (Did TTW get rid of that?) thanks to fatigue damage. I had way more fun going back to Fallout 3 after Vegas because of the bullshit difficulty, even if it was super easy after I got end-game gear. Vegas was easy regardless of difficulty once you got a decent enough weapon except in situations you were swarmed by enemies.

I haven't actually gotten any Albino Scorpions yet, so I may come singing a different tune when that happens. Plenty of Overlords though, but they're easy if you get them to drop their Tri-beam Lasers. Got a Reaver but those are easy if you get enough distance between you. Ghoul Mask works wonders if you can stomach that uppity zombie supremacist.

Overlords aren't a problem because, as you said, you can make them drop their guns or do headshots for increased damage. Albino Radscorpions have no head, suffer less damage to their limbs than normal, move even faster than Giant Radscorpions, and have really high DT.
Not to mention them spawning in the Radscorpion level list with no restrictions on their chance to spawn. Worst encounter I ever had in Fallout 3 was when not 1, not 2, but fucking 5 Albino Radscorpions decided to spawn in one place when I was just over level 20.

Damn, you had terrible luck. All those abandoned cars and rocks make great cheesing platforms if you can trick the AI into getting into a chasing loop. Poor pathfindingless motherfuckers. Are they immune to the darts though?

No, I just don't often use them. I probably should at some point. Gotta start visiting my workbench more often than to recycle ammo.
I've been spending a lot of my time hunting down robots to repair and reprogram so I can sell them, hunting Deathclaws because it's fun and makes me feel like I have a big johnson, and trying to grab as much Enclave power armor as I can.

Same. Ever take down a Deathclaw with only your fists on Very Hard? Can't beat that feeling.

I haven't turned on F3 in well over a decade and I still remember how Broken Steel made those bastards start appearing. They drain ammunition like it's going out of style and the most I recall being able to do was spamming mines or explosives. Ghoul Reavers (I think it was Reavers..) also were a pain in the ass but they don't resist limb crippling anywhere near as much.

Man, normies really don't like or understand House at all.
Bruh, every leader who thinks they're right in Vegas is delusional to a degree. Caesar is aware of his hypocrisy but ignores it in favor of following his dream through, Kimball and Oliver completely buy their own horse shit while everyone else suffers for it, Papa Khan is the boss of a bunch of neverbeen WE WUZ raiders, the Boomers are Boomers in every sense of the word with how inconsequential and unimportant they are in the long term, the Brotherhood of Steel is on the chopping block but the elders can't break muh codex, the families think they have any idea what they're doing, you think somehow you can do a better job even though you took power mostly for its own sake rather than to rule a shithole city state, the Followers are dumb enough to help addicts, the King is a bumbling albeit well-meaning idiot, Marcus thinks super mutants can establish a stable community despite the fact they can't breed, Hsu thinks everything will be fine if he just shuts up and does the best he can with what he's ordered to do, and House is so blinded by his past success he thinks somehow he can control the future when everything hinges on you doing what he tells you or buying his bullshit.

It's all a manner of picking your poison.
