I tried New Californa and I digged it... when I was in the vault.
It's alright, but suffers from being too ambitious and WAY too many combat sections as the game goes on. As someone who actually kept contact with the devs during it's development they basically said they were hoping more people would join to help them in certain areas, but no one ever did or they did and left not long after. It was basically a two man show the entire time, and by the end they just wanted to get it done so that they could work on an ACTUAL game they wanted to do.
eh, unless the TTW team crashes and burns suddenly (somewhat probable because its staffed by dangerhairs and its lead is a boomer who doesnt entirely follow dangerhair dogma) then thats probably gonna be the only other NV mod going around, lots of the engine fixes are done by people who arent spergs though, so those will continue trucking along untill the creators die from old age or get bored
You know every time I think about this stupid mod, I can't help but agree with the name of one of the trailers.

Wait? Xilandro just barely left? I thought he left a while ago and even said the mod was cancelled on Discord before they reiterated they just kicked them off the team. Either way, both parties come off as idiots imo.
A truer statement could have not been said. Seriously. The Frontier will forever be a monument of what NOT to do in a mod. Like I have noticed most "DLC" mods that are being made constantly reiterate that they WON'T be like The Frontier and seem to do basic background checks.
Unless he has had a sudden shift in personality, I doubt it considering he associates sites like these with the Sneedclave raid that happened when he was being interviewed by Tyler McChicken.

True. But probably gonna be one of the final times a video is made about this game that people will give a shit about. Like already (just look at the previous post before I shared it) people have moved in and rightfully forgotten about this mod outside of having it be the punchline to a joke. Even IF that NCR rewrite ever happens, I doubt it will get as much coverage as the original release caused.
