I picked this up again just to see it through and man the Exiled NCR is so bizarrely written. Just in the main game they're supposed to be the default good guy choice or at least the lesser of two evils, but they are so much more violent and extreme than any of the factions in the base game including the Legion. And speaking of the Legion, Tiberius whathisname the Northern Legion leader is way more reasonable and considerably less genocide happy than General Blackthorne. You're almost obligated to side with the Crusaders or the Frost Legion because of how much of a dangerous psychopath Blackthorne is.
It also shows how idiotic the devs are when they portray Blackthorne as marching south to end NCR's democracy as a good thing. They don't even try to draw parallels to how this is the equivalent of Caeser crossing the Rubicon and Blackthorne would ironically start the process of turning the NCR into an autocracy that Caeser's Legion would try to enforce via military conquest.
Not to derail the thread, but was Far Harbor written by another group of writers? Because it felt so different from the main game+other dlc; it actually had nuances and gray-grey morale; choices and consequences. I’ve genuinely loved this one.
As for Frontier, the only thing that made NCR line interesting is the fact, that if you side with them, they are fucked — now that’s some twist in rather blind we-good-go-fight-what-cost-hail-mailman. But I don’t think that part was intentional; that — and parallel with irl Caesar, which they failed to voice (or noticed).

Actually with the slave harbor add on and the TGspy cut which strips out a large portion of the beginning of the NCR campaign and the worst of the space station the mod is honesty ok. In terms of official content I'd say it's better than Mothership Zeta, Honest Hearts, and every Fallout 4 DLC except Far Harbor.
it is but the jumping puzzle, shitty boss fight against ARGUS, and a few of the shittier horror sequences are cut so it generally plays better. I still recommend the Legion or Crusaders quest lines over the NCR and TGSPY is a lunatic but if you're hell bent on playing the NCR campaign this is the best and least tedious way to play it.
Yeah him. Like yeah, if you take the lore breaking and horny stuff aside, they were competent mods. Maybe even good. But holy shit was he insufferable. He legit banned my main nexus account from viewing or downloading his mods simply because I said him being hostile to people who disagree with him was driving people away. And considering he has now left Nexus to make some other mod site that is bound to fail, I doubt I can ever get unbanned even if I wanted to.
Shame. Did he upload his work elsewhere? I was considering adding Outcasts/Remnants again to my load (though I've gotten all I want from Fuzion City and Valkyrie).

This is honestly the first time I have seen something like this. They did once upon a time show a list of compatible mods, and it was basically incompatible with anything that wasn't just engine stability stuff.

It did sort itself after like another 45 minutes when armor bear found where it had to go after wondering around aimlessly, and me reloading a few saves.
Also fuck the part where the legion captures you at the end of act one bridge too far mission.

I took a look at their twitter to see if there was anything of note but the only major thing was this, mod is apparently "on a semi-hiatus" because some of its devs (afaik, the main coder guy is the Ukranian guy) are in a literal warzone

This entire mod's aftermath has been a game of blame hot potato unless its at faggots for being faggots

Apparently, its an account for anonymous tips to be sent to from "Sneedclave" discord servers, apparently, a thing described by the tranny running this account
However, the person running this account has never seemingly posted any verifable info about any of these, neither image, or users, beyond this one interestingly retarded thread, seemingly detailing a convo between a random sneedclave member (no real proof)
There is also a supposed event where TK Mantis, the superhero-autist fag from Seattle that had drama with the project, was saying Nigga and other mean no-no autism in his discord, again no real proof
Also, the fandom link (why fandom, really nigga?) they used as a tip jar was apparantly banned and jannied for not being a relevant wiki
All in all, its an interesting rabbithole of autism, my gut tells me that none of this was that true beyond that one discord drama autism, and the person running the account was retarded enough to fall to some somewhat obvious trolling attempts, since some of the "tips" sound extremely retardedly far fetched on purpose (in particular, the one tweet about a "staged RP discord meant to create fake screenshots" sounds really fucking retarded and gay-ops-ey for it to be true, the way the tweets are written just scream "i want to be funny" to me, but maybe im just autistic)

New California was great. A new story, some fun traipsing around San Bernardino and a bunch of crazy bullshit to do. Sure, the plot twist kind of breaks the lore but I had enough fun playing raider politics and shooting Super Mutants.
