I like how the only way for the NCR to win is to have the courier patch up all their problems
and even then they're facing a major food shortage within 10 years
Meanwhile, the Legion campaign and the House campaign only have a few problems for you to fix. At most, maybe you'll have to fix a few errands for them, like helping Vulpes with his contacts in New Vegas and McCarran, but for the most part, they've got things under control. The NCR, however, even if you win Hoover Dam for them, it's the equivalent of fixing a broken-down ship with duct tape. They won the First Battle of Hoover Dam, and it only became worse for them, not better. What's to say that they won't squander the second victory that they get? Or even a third?
The problems with the NCR stem from its red-tape bureaucracy and its disorganized nature which invites infighting, which the Courier CANNOT fix. You can fix the problems in New Vegas by working for House or replacing him. You can fix the problems for the Legion by saving Caesar from his brain tumor and doing enough good deeds that he names you his successor. You cannot fix the NCR, even after winning New Vegas for them, since you do not fix the source of their problems. Even if you run for the NCR Presidency and win, chances are, if you try to "reform" too many things, the Brahmin Barons, landowners, and NCR political elite might bankroll a rebellion against you anyways for "rocking the boat", and they might even turn the NCR military against you.
Yeah I hate to say it but f4nv is probably going to be just as bad as frontier. That's if they even finish, since the capital wasteland and fallout 4 New Vegas team split it's going to take a lot longer for both teams to finish their projects.
Fallout 4 New Vegas team is comprised of the same type of people that made up fallout frontier and even includes some of the exact same people.
That's a problem. Especially since we know what kind of people made the Frontier. I'm half-expecting them to fuck up the Enclave sidequest because "ItS a fAsCiSt PoWeR fAnTaSy" and they don't want the Enclave portrayed in any well-meaning manner. Especially since the Enclave is all about loving good, old-fashioned America, and you can't have that in the era of "ORANGE MAN BAD!"

Capital Wasteland officially re-iterates they have nothing to do with F4NV after tranny drama. At one point, many team members worked together on both mods. But apparently one of the leads of F4NV was a ragging egomaniac and the tranny echo chamber annoyed people enough to completely jump ship to Capital Wasteland.
The shitest thing about this is that I care nothing for Fallout 3. But it has the best team working on the mod. I just wanted Fallout New Vegas with Fallout 4's gun mechanics and power armour. The trannies can't ever let anyone enjoy anything though, so here we are.
I hope they re-create main story and Broken Steel well. I loved the big fights against the Enclave, like in Raven Rock Base, Project Purity, the satellite station, and final battle on that Base Crawler against all those Enclave troopers, and seeing hordes of them coming at you with Fallout 4 versions of the FO3 power armor would be sweet.
