It should not be possible to terminate established pregnancy with "morning after / plan B" pill alone. Even if it did terminate pregnancy, test would show positive result, not negative, because she would have produced enough hormone for test to pick it up. Even if she scraped it with a fork, the test would most likely show positive result. Happens all the time after miscarriages.

It’s much more likely that this was a “chemical pregnancy” given a first (weak) positive test and subsequent negative. This happens when the egg is fertilised but doesn’t implant properly or stops developing really early, so the body starts to make hCG but never usually reaches the point of needing enough for a strong positive or real symptoms. If so then she’d only have been ~5 weeks (and bear in mind that the first couple don’t really count as it’s based on LMP) so it’s absolutely retarded to announce this early and most people wouldn’t even know about the pregnancy unless they’re actively trying.

The fact that they are both US citizens makes things easier. What you are referring to above is US residents (aka green card holders or others with a resident status), not citizens. They can even file paperwork online because they are in Mexico. It’s really not going to be that much work, even for their dumbasses. US citizens have kids abroad all the time.

Both of those quotes refer directly to US citizens. Most citizens are perfectly able to meet those requirements, yes, and for most people it’s not too much of a hassle, but given how poorly they’re doing with one kid, I have concerns about being able to file the necessary paperwork, even on easily filled online forms
