She has given Cyrus such a thick plating of plot armor that despite being a deviant pedophile with a victim count into the hundreds, not a single girl apparently has ever corroborated grooming evidence with other girls and he has never genuinely risked legal consequence; Fanny is extremely careful to ensure nothing ever befalls Cyrus. Nor has his obvious domestic abuse of Lynn ever gone anywhere - and though one could write that as a searing indictment of the American justice system towards victims of domestic violence, it's obvious that Fanny isn't trying to write about anything beyond what her miserable hyena-clitoris swells in response to.

Apparently their story ends with Lynn dying peacefully in her sleep and Cyrus killing himself shortly after, which is so boring yet framed as endlessly romantic by Fanny. Lame! What's the point of writing about such wretched people if nothing interesting ever befalls them due to their wicked ways? It'd be cool to see if Lynn ever "woke up" from the thrall of Cyrus' abuse and then turned him into the cops herself and they died in a murder-suicide so she couldn't testify against him, or maybe even becomes a key witness and despite Cyrus' well-connected family ties, he gets Epstein'd.
