Fanon wikis, you say?

Back when I was really into Kingdom Hearts, I used to visit the fandom wiki for kicks. Some of the stories within were intriguing, while others were downright laughable. There were plenty of recolored characters and worlds that would never appear in the games themselves in a million years (such as wherever Naruto takes place.) One user, in particular, stood out in my mind because his characters were easily identified by their heavy swearing, use of Metallica and Megadeath songs for their battle themes, and taking place in an alternate universe where everything is darker and edgier. And of his characters, one in particular stood out in my mind:

This guy is what would happen if Ninja Theory made a Kingdom Hearts game. Those quotes reek of tryhard edgelord. (And no, I have no idea why the girl from Bioshock Infinite is there.)

Just skimming through this article makes me hope that this is all one big elaborate :ruse:.

Part of me can't stand to think that its on the same world as these people who so casually abuse literature with their self-insert Sues.

I mean... there are communities for this? I'm surprised they don't turn on each other for the title of Queen of the Sues.

Okay, woah that was rude. I'm glad most of the stuff you guys are finding is from 2012/2013, the years when everything was hell on the Nick Fanon Wiki. You made me, Bagel and KM feel like crap because of what you wrote about the wiki. We don't expect our stuff to become real, we just do it because writing is fun. We're just a community of writers who do this sort of stuff for fun.

Your wiki is just amusing from an outsider perspective though, I doubt anyone here has anything personal against any of you. At least you're not one of those lolcows who gets doxed regularly :/

(also bear in mind that the thread quickly became a catch-all thread for all fanon wikis, not just you guys. I only picked the Nickelodeon Fanon Wiki because I didn't think there were others like it for other franchises.)

Dude, it's the Internet. This shit's public, and whatever you post has the chance to show up and be scrutinized by anyone who's bored enough to look through it and bring his friends over (in this case, us).

That being said, it's just shitty writing. We'll probably make a jab at it and the silliness of the authors, but hell, we have no real personal vendetta against you guys unless you do something really stupid that puts you in, like, Chris-chan levels of mockery. Welcome to the Farms. We laugh at people if they do stupid shit. We used to have threads mocking some of our own once they outed a bunch of hilarious crap and then overreacted when we laughed about it. Just take it in stride or simply don't care, dude.

But in all seriousness, welcome to the Farms. If you only came here to post this one message, I don't expect you to stay, but honestly so long as you strive to improve and not create more silly Mary Sue-esque or derivative, bland crap again, you probably won't be hearing from us ever again. If the well runs dry, we abandon it pretty quickly. Such is the nature of the "dastardly trolls."
