What's so funny about this is that Chris is obviously pissed about being trolled like this but he also wants the Sonic DVD and wants to receive more items of the sort. So it's a reprimand and a detailed invitation all rolled into one. He even calls us both "trolls" and "fans" at the same time to achieve this point.

It occurs to me that all this problem needs is a positive spin on it. For example, Chris pretending that this is a real world version of Animal Crossing, and he has to harvest all the unexpected presents/treasures from his front yard.

Of course the odds of Chris being that creative and then acting on it are about the same as my growing wings and suddenly being able to piss $100 bills, so... nope.

I can imagine Chris holding a shovel and trying to get more money from rocks now.

It's nice to be helping. This is more mental stimulation then he gets in a week. He can add rpg elements to his life by going on a treasure hunt every few days. Maybe put something just out of reach so he can find items to help him get it.
