Literally days after everyone is talking about the people staring at her and she still wants to say the "comments" are saying it or that she doesn't read them?

I'd have at least a little respect for her if she just admitted she read the farms religiously.

She is too fat to estimate her body fat percentage. She needs hydrostatic weighing (which would probably kill her) or find a school that has a radiological body fat testing system for "big girls" to find out how much of her body is made up of fat.

She is not "plus sized" or a "bigger girl." She is not even "morbidly obese" any longer. Her BMI--according the numbers she has provided--is around 90. 90! The amount of stress she puts on every system in her body is already at the limit the species can take. Not getting there. She is there. Her exercise tolerance is already incredibly low. Not being able to walk around a store without a medical reason other than "fatass" is not normal. Her cardiorespiratory fitness is very poor. Her body can't supply enough oxygen to move her great mass around. She complains of edema. Her skin has dark blotches. That is what you can see. Who knows what is going on under all that blubber.

Of course she likes to be surrounded by people. She needs them to do things for her because she is too fat. Without other people to enable her gluttony, she would have to become somewhat functional.

I had to laugh when she starts to tell a story about job hunting, and asks us if we want a video about all the things that are hard for her to do as a fattie, like walk in malls. (No, that won’t affect your job, nope) Then the story goes that she went to all these stores, filled out the apps at the food court, then turned them in. Says nobody hired her even at Torrid because of misconceptions about fat people, and describes how how hard she works -using examples of the two jobs she quit because she was too fat!

I don't think that guy was calling her a beanbag, honestly. Seemed like he was talking about something else entirely. I'm sure he was taken aback by her size and, at the very least, had a few ~fat-shaming~ thoughts run through his head. Amberlynn is so huge that it's almost impossible for even other, smaller fatties to not do a double take. It's instinctual at this point. Something not so deep down in our DNA makes us recoil at the sight of a human figure that distorted because we know it's not healthy and it means death. Gorl, a solid 98% of the population is at least silently fat-shaming you, likely being more vocal about it when you're out of earshot.

Also, lol'd at her thinking she's just morbidly obese now, and was plain ol' regular obese after her famous 89 elbees. Her body isn't the only thing she's fucked up beyond recognition. Her perception of what a healthy weight is has flown out the window too.

I'm familiar with hydrostatic weighing to measure body fat but am having a hard time picturing why it could possibly kill her if she did it. Is it because she'd have to hold her breath for 15 seconds and possibly trigger a heart attack? Or were you being sarcastic?

If you weren't being sarcastic then it's sobering to realize one of the best ways to measure body fat would lead Amber to the absolute best way to determine body fat percentages - an autopsy.

This is a really good point. As she's claiming she's subject to job discrimination due to her weight, she's also explaining why it is no company would ever hire her. She can't walk, lift or even stand all day, let alone engage in the often difficult tasks involved in retail sales. Her first day of unboxing shipments would be her last.

People as fat as Amber are naturally extremely self-centered but even with her self-indulgent laziness taken into account, no job hires 500 pound women. Period. One look at her and hearing her panting as she asks for an application is a clear signal that this is a person who will always be late, frequently be sick, and unable to complete the simplest tasks. And now she has a video up explaining how she cannot walk the mall. That'll help change everyone's perspective on super fat people for sure.

It's kind of funny watching these extremely fat people talk their way into a corner. It reminds me of this TITP post wherein an obese woman of color asked out her fit, good looking, white male friend. He was honest and told her he didn't want to date an inactive fat woman. He wanted someone as active as him. She countered by explaining that her weight was genetic and that she was so active she could run a marathon in under two hours while chained to a bus while eating 500 calories a day yet still gained weight or some other similar "yeah right" fat boast. He said that if that were true that he really didn't want to date her because if she was genetically fat it means her kids could be genetically fat and he wants a healthy family. She went ballistic, accusing him being a proponent of eugenics. He had given her an answer yet she couldn't help but shoot herself in the foot as she gave him even more ammunition to reject her. They will all talk themselves into similar corners when confronted about their idealized HAES version of themselves versus their genuine appearance, health and stamina.

Giving it more than two thoughts this truly shows where her insecurities lie.
I was the same. Whenever I spoke up in class or in public I thought people who are whispering are talking about me but 99,99% of time I'm not that important nor did people talk about me. It's those false lies our insecurities tell us. Meaning that Hamby IS insecure about her fat because a truly self-esteemed person would just laugh it off and continue.

So far for all that body positivity which the whole movement is a joke anyway. If you need a movement to love yourself there is something else wrong that's deeply rooted that needs to be dealt with. The whole body positivity movement is just a big excuse to never change and do nothing to better your conditions.

But we humans are ever changing, ever evolving creatures. Stagnation is death.

I don't think anyone would actually try underwater weighing with her. The person being weighed has to expel the air form his or her lungs to get as close to residual volume (amount of air left in lungs when you breathe out everything), She has trouble breathing on land. It may not kill her, but she would not have an easy time. I could see a trip to emergency room resulting.
