Yep and other contributing factors like they tend to literally just sit inside all day.

If you're being monitored by doctors essentially sitting inside all day in a bubble. You probably going to get a smidgen of longevity but at what cost? Lolz

A similar example of correlation =/= causation is the studies apparently showing that recent quitters have worse health than active smokers. It turns out that many people only quit smoking once their health tanks, skewing the data.

Don't forget this fat fuck is also constantly high as balls on taxpayer-subsidized narcotics and has been for years. By this point I wouldn't be surprised if he's upped his opiate tolerance enough that some pain clinic doctor has him on fentanyl patches and/or methadone tablets or something, plus morphine/oxy/hydromorph for breakthrough pain, plus whatever he's doctor shopped for. I'm just guessing here but I think walking around barefoot on that disgusting, weeping, mutant barnacle leg all the time would be more painful (or at least on par) with fucked up teeth. Also, given how putrid his hygiene is, I doubt he's ever brushed his teeth in his life. It has likely been quite a while since he got past the point of having much sensation once the unchecked decay killed the nerves entirely.

Tbh I consider it a legitimate concern that he's going to end up cultivating an especially nasty novel strain of bacteria or fungus resistant to even our strongest drugs. He's incredibly fat and filthy, has constant extremely severe skin infections requiring strong antibiotics, and spends a disproportionate amount of time stinking up hospitals while every available resource is funneled into keeping his worthless ass from dying. Superbugs almost always originate from people exactly like this. And you just know it would start fucking up all kinds of people while causing him no real harm whatsoever.

1. How in the holy mother of fuck does he have money for all this food? Especially now he's alone. This applies to 70% of 600lbers
2. Why the fuck everyone around them are such an enablers? Normal way of interacting with brain rotten retards like Steven is buying a month of supplies of bottled water and leaving the retard by himself. He dies? If he does, big fucking deal, but they have enough lard to stay alive for years.

Did you ever watch the Assanti episodes of My 600 lb Life? I'm guessing not, but I highly recommend it. God tier trash television. Anyway, the short answer is that he entirely lacks shame and is well practiced at abusing health care workers and etc, plus his dad has some money but is an inconsiderate shithead and spineless goddamn retard himself.

The answer to both of your questions is his father's a massive enabler. Everything from the housing he shits up to the pizzas he gobbles like Pac Man are all paid for by his dad. You'll see it if you watch his My 600lb Life episodes, it's more disgusting than the eczema growth on his leg.

There is always the possibility of him tossing everything in a blender and drinking his food. He's certainly the type of lazy fuck to do so, or atleast have his dad do so for him.

If it helps, what life does he have, exactly? He's still an addict, lost his teeth, picks his hair to the point of baldness, his wife left him, and everybody hates him. He's not even relevant anymore, no one cares about his existence, so he doesn't even get the attention he clearly craves. What little scraps he can get are relegated to the sporadic cameo that trickles in. He's living the life he deserves.

For a terminal fat with an opiate addiction he is surprisingly resilient. How he hasnt had a fentanyl overdose is a miracle. He doctor shops for pain pills so I wouldnt put it past him to get some pressed fent from a nig at a gas station when he can't get a refill.

Then again the same can be said about most deathfats. Somehow, heart diseases, addictions and organ failure that would kill someone normal sized, they just tank the damage and move on with it like it's a new part of life.
