The Kiwifarms discord. Might sounds gay but I had never been on Discord, didn't even know what it was until Josh advertised it on mati. My mind was absolutely blown, it was the most retarded, hilarious and weird place I had ever seen on the Internet. It forever changed my music taste and got me into Russian rock like Kino (first time listening to Grupa Krovi). It took me an entire week to muster the courage to introduce myself and I was immediately coerced into saying the nword. It is to this day, the most fun I have ever had on the Internet and I have never recaptured this feeling. I was in the Discord the very moment it got nuked by the Discord tranny jannies and I had no idea what was going on. For a few minutes, the chat exploded with dubstep videos of mustache man waving at the crowd and then poof, nothing, it was gone. I think I spent maybe a month there and it was the best time I ever had. I never went back to Discord.

Using Dial-up to go on Newgrounds and play Flashgames. I remember waiting thirty-minutes to two hours just to watch an animation or play anything. As ass as that was, I miss the suspense that built up for what could be a mixed bag.

Taking StarCraft too seriously as a teenager and playing on battlenet 24/7 It was nerdy, but it was heaven, in fact I miss the way the internet was for gaming back then, you could have dedicated servers no need to log in communities were a lot different no political BS.

People did alot shit talking but there wasn't hatred it was just people talking. Yeah there were trolls and assholes but it was more niche, he didn't have all these fruits who wanted to push their ideals in games or at the very least they were quiet about it.

It was a glorious time. Oh and to a lesser extent thr age of Spoony being unironically entertaining.
