Favorite NPCs - Minor characters and those of lesser importance

In visual fiction I find myself clinging to minor characters. Here are some of my favorites:

The one-legged Confederate veteran in RDR 2. My own great great grandfather fought for Georgia and lost an arm at the battle of Gettysburg, so I felt kinship with this fellow.

The British soldiers in Metal of Honor: Frontline. Like I mentioned in the soundtrack thread, I tried many times to save as many of them as I could.

The Fauns of Fractured Hills in Spryo the Dragon: Ripto's Rage. I thought they were cute in the PS1 era, but then Toys for Bob gave them smexy Irish accents. Hnng!

I fucking love Charles Smith from RDR2. He's just such a bro, and he and Arthur have such great chemistry together-to the point where my friends and I joke that Charles is secretly supposed to be the true love interest of the game.

On that note, Eagle Flies, too. His bow skills are awesome, his horse is so cool, and I really felt for his cause. I'm seriously tempted to get RDR2 on PC just to play as him in this mod.
His death would've wrecked me the most if my speakers hadn't glitched and caused the Native American humming to sound just like a kazoo. I still cried during it, but I was laughing so hard.

Edit: Better video example.

There was an Alien from a Storyline in City of Heroes called Dillo.

He had a Darth Vaderesqe sound effect they would use for him breathing that came out as "Hoorb" in text.

He was the best because despite being friendly as hell he had a very..loose hold on the English language which created some odd phrasing for him like using "THE HOT DOGS" as a phrase of excitement.

From the same game there was An Evil "Right hand of the main villain" called Arbiter Sands. Who was amazing every time he showed up.

Edit : Also The Boy from the last god of War game.

I like how over the top Mr. Torgue is in Borderlands 2.
There is a lot more hilarious NPCs in the Borderlands series, but he is the first I can think of.

I've always been fond of the Super Mario Sunshine NPCs just because their interactions with you changed over the course of the game. Each level it was fun to talk to each NPC to get their take on the current mission. Usually the first two missions they would be shocked or angry at what was going on, transition to generic dialogue for the middle missions, and by the last few missions they pretty much all had this attitude of "I don't care anymore I just want to go home". Just a little thing I enjoy where each random character had their own mini-arc as you played through the game.

I loved the native characters in RDR 2. The raid against the oil station gave me goosebumps.

The random NPC in GTA5 who says "yep, I've been drinking again".

That and the ones in San Andreas who will insult you if you keep running around them or just hustling them

And the best part is that he's so assmad, he actually says something different after you beat the shit out of him and progress through the game.
This guy and Lord fucking Crump are among my favorites in the Paper Mario games.

Pour one out for poor Lord Crump. He tried so hard and got so far.

I would love to see a Punished Crump redemption arc where he completely obliterates the Mushroom Kingdom.
