With those glasses, those figures kind of remind me of Ali G.

Is this some form of abstract internalized hatred of his condition? I mean, Chris literally made it possible for him to beat the shit out of tiny retards in Smash Bros.
It's not that abstract, and doesn't even have to be in Smash Bros. CWC himself said "But anyway, uh, you forget one, don't forget one thing aside from be-, you don't have to have them for their Amiibo functionality...because they are very collectible; and as toys, you can still use your imagination and play with them."

the little Lego Dimensions portal is on the back, of course no one doubted he'd LOVE to sink endless money into that, but it's nice to have confirmation

His paint work is sooooo bad... does he paint them using the big end of a carrot?

Aside from the shitty paint-job, why does the finish on these figures seem so dull and flat? It looks like he got superglue or plastic cement over his fingers and touched every surface of the figures he could get his grubby hands on.

He's using the cheapest paint possible to do these with (surprising I know) and this type of paint dries with a very matte finish. It's supposed to be used for wall stencils and other small craft projects. It's also watered down considerably so it dries really fast and leaves fingerprints if you touch it when it isn't completely dry--cheap paint is more likely to leave fingerprints or brush strokes. If you look online at some of the nicer custom amiibos, you'll notice that the paint job matches the plastic on the original amiibos pretty well and this is because they use a higher quality paint, like model paint, or a glossy varnish to seal and protect the amiibo's paint finish. Chris has not moved beyond the elementary school level of arts and crafts.

He does use gloss paint. You can see a bottle of gloss baby blue in the most recent video.
But basically yes it is as you said. Even the gloss will also most likely end up looking dull because of many reasons related to his incompetence. Gloss coats generally are very unforgiving toward rough surfaces and we all know how careful Chris is. I would even wager he only chose gloss because he doesn't even know there's a difference.

He could clear coat the finished work with a gloss coat to seal and protect everything, but like I said gloss is unforgiving and will most likely just highlight all the bumps and ridges his clumsy fingers left behind.

Yeah there's very little difference between matte and gloss with that particular brand of paint. To get a gloss he'd need some sort of varnish or medium on top. But yeah I agree that his technique is mostly the problem and the fact that he's painting over superglue and crayola model magic doesn't help either.

Pretty much, I Just noticed the paints he's using appear to be Apple Barrel brand, they're really cheap.

At this point, I suppose we aught to be grateful he wasn't using Tempera/Poster Paint!

So chances are he's not using tools to paint or assemble these things, just grabbing them with his hands, brushing cheap paint over them and leaving marks on them in the process? Sorry to sperg out about this I just find it fascinating that an autist like Chris isn't concerned with the minor details of what he's making.

Okay, can I ask a question, is the autistic puzzle symbolic of the fact that autistic people have a crappy time bonding with actual people so they bond with puzzle pieces inanimate objects as opposed to human beings who literally sit down and try to figure each other out through facial expression, tone, movement.....ect. If this is true, I am sure Nintendo can create a lego sex robot for Chris to build from the ground up.

It's symbolic of the fact that they're not actually people and it's a puzzle why we even put up with them at all.

Anybody gonna point out to Christine that saying there are only two genders is transphobic as fuck and I for one am disgusted that she, as a proud Lesbian Trans-woman of Native American heritage with links to the British Monarchy would forget this.
