At one point I would have thought this was a sincere (but stupid) expression of emotion.

Now I can't see it as anything but a callous sympathy play. "Hey guys, remember, my dad is dead. Now, about my Patreon not being in the four digits a month already..."

I disagree about barb because she is the one who is fucking him up, she spoiled him to get him out of her hair, she undid most of what bob tried to teach chris to make him dependent on her
 
It's times like this I particularly enjoy the irony that Bob was reincarnated as Clover. The workings of karma are swift and just.
 
Even though Chris is prone to ebegging in inappropriate times, I still think this was done in sincerity. Just expressed really, really autistically.

Eh. There's no denying that Chris took advantage of Bob to an extent, but you could still use someone and still genuinely care for them, or even love them.
 
This is just a great reminder that we should all donate








to a person who actually needs help.

Jokes aside, it's sad that Chris is really going to be all alone soon.

His mother didn't help him develop the skills needed to lead a functional life and I can't imagine him reconciling with his extended family anytime soon.
