What's this about Chris going to Omegacon? Maybe he needs the $20 or $50 dollars for that.

Also, kittens in their back yard? Please, someone in the area call animal services not just to take the kittens in for potential adoption, but to see if they can find the mother to spay and rerelease. Chris doesn't need to kill and neglect more animals.

To clarify, I don't say that Barb always makes Chris feel like the situation is worse than it actually is. I say that Barb hides the severity of the situation from Chris. So sometimes they are genuinely hurting for cash. Sometimes Barb just wants a new minifridge that she saw at the mall. Sometimes it's in the somewhere in the middle.

I don't believe Chris has enough information to tell the difference, so when Barb says it's an emergency, it's an emergency to Chris.

Chris has always believed himself to be some kind of adorable, precocious child - even in his 30s. He also believes that being pathetic is the best way to get people to buy into his bullshit. When his one play fails to get him results, it angers and confuses him.

For what it is worth, it was slightly before my time as well; I just saw it during my first few months as a member while browsing the lolcow forum.

Edit: Though Null's thread at the top of the non-sticked list is one of my fav posts on this site tbh. Best summation of a subforum I've ever seen.

It is, but it's an early sign of more interesting days around the corner. He's getting desperate and he's clearly more burnt out than ever to boot. Every day his personal fantasyland gets less sustainable, and when that's gone, god only knows how he'll react. Autist Rome is burning.

No only "No", but FUCK no! If Chris needs money so bad then he needs to figure out a way to earn it. We are not his personal piggy banks nor a lending service. And anyone who lends money to Chris with the idea that it will be paid back is more retarded than Chris. It will be as if that money got sucked into a black hole and spat into an alternate dimension; never to return.
