Well, I don't know how much Medicare covers for dental work, but I know in the last year, I personally racked up about $5k in dental bills to fix about twelve cavities, and get a crown placed in (Pro tip: Don't avoid going to the dentist for three years and subsist on a diet of energy drinks in the meantime). If Chris is only chipping in half of his profits to dear ol' mum, he's more than likely covering just a fraction of what she's needing unless VA has got some really sweet dental rates... if that is even a thing.

*insert rehashed dialogue about him getting a job, etc. etc. etc.*
 
More incentive/desperation/bribery. Those teeth really need fixing.

Oh god. I just thought of something horrible. What if Chris ends up having to chew Barb's food for her?

Forget cars and boats and whatnot. Above a certain age, still having all your own teeth (in good condition, mind) is the status symbol.

Yeah, Chris is going to give the money he makes to Barb so she can have her teeth fixed!

He's not going to spent a RED CENT on anything else but this very important thing.

There is absolutely nothing else Chris is going to spend the money he makes on. Even if Barb can cover some of it herself, Chris will be a kind son who offers it all to her because he loves his mama more than any hobbies he might have.

It's pathetic because with 5 seconds in any image editing program he could edit that out.
