That's how I understood it.

But it doesn't really make any difference, since we're dealing with Chris, who's far too slow-in-the-head and literal to understand what an Oedipal dream is about.

They're usually a reaction to too close, symbiotic relationships, growing up/becoming a man/woman or completely asexual transgressions and aggressions. Stuff that's best explored with a couch and a psychoanalyst.

Explaining this to Chris would be as useful as trying to discus quantum mechanics with him. You'd get a "Hmm mmh" before he would try to talk about himself again.

For Chris an Oedipal dream = a sex fantasy. And would result in little more than him waking up in soiled underwear, an uncomfortable silence at breakfast, and numerous guilt-filled masturbation sessions.

Chris dream was an Oedipal dream and a literal sexual just because he and Barb have inappropriate boundaries and she's the only one that is willing to do touchy feeling things with him like spooning. The thing is that Chris never grew out of his Oedipal complex, so it turned into a true and honest conscious desire to bang the only Anima figure he has in his life that is willing to let him project on to her.

Gotta love how the actual reasons for the dream, as well as the fact that a dream where you have sex, can be about something else than sex is completely lost on him.

Instead he goes "Welp that just happened...." *fap-fap-fap*
And starts to come up with reasons and rationalization as to why porking your mother can be beneficial and a rational idea. And posts it on Facebook!

By far the most odd thing about Chris is how he just feels the need to share the most embarrassing and fucked up crap about him to the whole world, whether it's shitting himself, wearing a bra, slipping on cat shit, drinking his ''navy'' and fanta cocktail and now his incestuous fantasies with .

It just occurred to me he actually might have meant "dreamt" as in a literal dream not a sexual fantasy.

That's how I took it. And a sex dream in itself does not mean anything, more likely than not, but his then sharing an article about mother/child incest adds some truly disturbing undertones to the whole affair. Add to that the fact that his being too chummy with his mother has already been noticed by several other people and we are into for one of those 'wtf Chris!' moments that are ever so common in this exceptional individual.

There seems to be a pattern to this. Chris will announce something absolutely disgusting (like keeping dirty, crapped briefs around after pooping himself on a fairly regular basis), then try to spin it as its being completely normal and not at all deviant.

I see three factors in this.

1) Very poor sense of others, how they will react, and thus what is socially acceptable.
2) A fairly large ego.
3) An ability to use incredible logical leaps to backfill the logic to any conclusion.

So he has some weird dream about his mother. He thinks because he is awesome and inherantly on the right side of things, it must be a normal thing to do. He then backfills some pretty warped logic about why incest is acceptable. Because he has a large ego, he thinks it is pretty awesome logic, and because he doesn't have a sense of others, he assumes they will too.

The well-drawn cover would have you believe you might be in for some quality animation, but you're not. You're in for soul-crushing failure on every possible level. the animation, the script, the sound design, art design, and last but certainly not LEAST, the voice acting.

And while I haven't seen this one, I have seen Star Ballz, which was made by the same people ( They even re use Goku as Han Solo/Luke Skywalker and Sailor Moon as Princess Leia!)

So I assume the level of quality is pretty much the same

If Chris wasn't so thick I might think he was trying to make his google results terrible in a silly attempt to render himself unhireable. But his stupid is a different kind of stupid. The kind which simply thinks casually sharing incest dreams is normal.
