I thought humans had some developmental thing that stops us being attracted to parents, siblings and even childhood friends ?
To my knowledge this was even the case with autistics and its absence was only noted in severely damage humans and those you had abusive upbringings

if I recall, the Oedipus complex was a stage in the now disproven psychoanalysis field/theory (not a psychology major to be honest, but I do sometimes look into psychology out of morbid curiosity)

It has something to do with being exposed to your sibling/parent during a certain time. Basically, your body gets accustomed to the pheromones of this close relative and starts to identify them as non-favorable due to their proximity.
Apparently, when a person is not exposed to these pheromones during a certain crucial period, said person migth actually end up being attracted to these pheromones (the body misidentifies them as a good match of genes).

Though this is the super-shallow short version of what the body actually does. Biology is by no means my forté tbh.

You know, I doubt people dream about fucking their parents as often as Chris assumes it happens. Most of us, while growing up, understand that it's a disgusting and immoral act and don't fantasize or dream about it. I think it's just those fucked up perverts who actually want to act out those sick fantasies, or who have been abused aby their parent(s) who dream or fantasize about it.

And I can't say that Chris fantasizing about plowing Barb's geriatric cooch shocks me. Hell, it wouldn't surprise me if they actually did it. Chris has always been kind of pervy and has been far to obsessed with sex to be considered healthy. And since the only woman around who will spend time with him without being paid by Chris to do so is Barb (and even she mooches off Chris' TardBux), and since her mental faculties are going down hill fast, a sexual scenario involving the two of them doesn't seem to be too much of a stretch. Especially when you take into account that they're both mentally ill shut-ins.

Just the open question of who among everyone hasnt had a dream fucking their parent baffles me.
Its like he would be honestly surprised that no one else (no one mentally healthy anyway or found outside loveshy containment ) ever thought this way. I know incest porn is one of the most searched types but most folks know its fake and generally is between step siblings and parents or a hot new stepmom/dad. Even then its not a substitution fantasy.
