Title edited upon clarification of what Sonic Boom is exactly. Apparently it's a game, TV show, and rl Sonic convention.

I'd just assumed it was a game as well until I looked it up on Wikipedia. Turns out that "Sonic Boom" is a CGI-cartoon series, but there are going to be some tie-in games.

Chris earlier expressed disgust for the My Little Pony: Equestaria Girls movie and now it's his favorite. I'm sure he'll enjoy Sonic Boom, too.

This is the exact same thing he did with the Equestria Girls which he later went on to promote in one of his own videos. Chris will buy this and then praise it.
 
Whenever we hear about the Sonic arm thing again it just reminds me how weird it is that Chris, the autistic who's been obsessed with Sonic the Hedgehog, Patron Saint of Autism for more than 20 years, has never really talked about Sonic. It's always been about him and his recolor characters. Even when he posted on forums specifically devoted to video games he just posted about being a virgin with rage.

Seeing him do something this bog-standard Aspergers is actually a little bit weird. It's like if there was an episode of My Little Pony where the ponies crapped on the ground mid-musical number just to remind you that they're horses.

My theory here is that Chris basically views Sonic as a real person. The cartoons, games, whatever don't really matter, that's just stuff that Sonic does - he's still the same hedgehog. But making his arms blue, well, then you're messing with Sonic himself and therefore fucking with Chris' reality.

Sort of like the whole Simonla fiasco. Seriously, that really showcased Chris' nasty side.
