Feb 28, 2022 - Chris transferred to another facility

There are not that many facilities he could have gone to, though, so even though there's no way to confirm, you could make an educated guess. If you contact that facility they will not tell you anything (unless they are convinced you are a concerned relative, in which case they still won't tell you anything but might drop hints out of compassion).
I can see a ween spamming letters every few days to "Christine Chandler" at every facility he could possibly be in until one of them makes it through.

Yeah, McNamara's Folly did not exactly turn out well. The tards caused more damage to our bases and morale than they did to the enemy.

Yup. He probably now has access to cartoons again.

EDIT: Unless they recognize that cartoons are part of his delusions and deem it part of the problem, in which case he may be banned from them.
It's possible they'll let him watch cartoons again, IF they decide his "delusions" aren't genuine delusions linked to being a sczio or hallucinating. Really if they give him tv privlages and he behaves himself, which includes not making the noises and faces back when he reacted to the red vs blue MLP cartoon (God that feels like a fucking lifetime away now) then they'll just let him sit in the TV room all day except for meal, medication and bedtimes.

How is intake at mental hospitals nowadays?

My only experience is movies and tv shows where such places are staffed with surly individuals with little patience, an instinct to forcefully make a patient comply and a not-too-gentle approach to cavity searches.
First, they ask you to sign forms. Then they may offer a drink or sandwich while they do various mental health checks through conversations and questionnaires. They'll usually be friendly and sometimes with a smile.

At some point you get nude for a very short time, during which a nurse checks for any signs of self-harm. This is the only purpose of the search. Then they give you, usually blue, often misfitting paper-like shirts and pants. No cavity searches. Then they give you oral meds according to any medical notes you have in any medical forms or databases, or whatnot. Then you go to a group session or hang out with patients.

You can request your normal street clothing and wear it the next day, and for the duration of your stay

Here is a relevant article discussing increases in misdemeanor defendants being found unable to assist their own defense. Not tons of relevant substance, but it seems like a good place to start

also this summary from the state of Virginia

Edit: The one thing that really stuck out to me in the slide deck is that inpatient restoration to competency is reserved for when outpatient methods fail or are unlikely to be effective. They've likely already tried a good bit and failed. Further, although there's really no hope of it ever seeing the light of day, the competency report citing "specific examples" of Chris's inability to assist in his own defense seems like a new holy grail for this site
Hmm. If virginia is anything like illinois, someone unfit to stand trial has to go for a six month stay a crappy mental health joint that's pretty much a horrifying prison camp. Some of the people that go there have severe mental problems like schizophrenia- real hearing of voices and are really far gone. This could break chris if true.

Well guys if a letter spamton got is anything to go on the nut house saga was only a few days... Chris Chan is back home I shit you not. Is back on my apologies, there were some technical difficulties earlier and I got mixed up thinking Chris sent a letter from home, but it was just addressed from branchland, not actually from there.

Even though he has been in protective custody, that does not mean he has not had contact with other jailed people. There's a possibility (though slim, because jail, not prison) that someone got tired of him yelling "incantations" or his butchered bible quotes day and night and assaulted him. It's not hard to imagine someone in jail having a short temper and Chris could be in a real hospital.

Spamton got it just today, it's lost marked from Branchland and doesn't seem to be Chris wishful thinking about being home we just need confirmation it's legit.

Edit: ninjaed by Ophelia sooooo hard.
Here's what I think happened: That letter is dated end of January, so Chris was looking forward to that next hearing believing it to be the one where he'll plead or end up getting out. Either the hearing went really badly, or they had no intention of him getting out. If all of Chris's hopes were dashed on getting out, you could imagine him not being happy at all.

Read my replies in that thread, Chris has been sending letters with 14BLC as the return address for ages.
Or, just read the letter:
By the time you receive this letter and Paryer, I shall have returned home to the Sonichu Temple, recorded and uploaded my Vital message with the citing of my Prayer for all
Nothing here says he's out. He sent a letter on the 30th of January, expecting to be released at his hearing in four days. It didn't happen. He went spastic. He's now in a psych ward.
Spamton's trying to break news that never happened.

It's mail fraud. Just like Chris' female fraud.
