It can't possibly be that cheap; if it were, no site on the internet would be running right now. CNN, the White House, Facebook, Twitter, Amazon/AWS, Microsoft Azure, Xbox Live, PSN, Nintendo's junk, WoW, you name it. All big targets. If it was seriously that cheap to hire a DDoS botnet to blast 100+ gbps at whatever target, there are way bigger fish to fry than KF. Many wealthier, angrier people exist with much larger axes to grind than axe-wound owners angry at a gossip site.

They have enterprise level firewalls and network engineers. Netflix DDOSSes themselves for fun at this point and is able to weather entire regions being down with little to no interruption in service.

I really don't understand why would anyone even try to make DDOS attacks to this site, the best you would probably do is causing this site to go inactive for a week. And for what? I genuinely hope people don't think that making DDOS attacks to this site will prevent transgendered people from killing themselves.

Spend that money on something much more worthwhile for fuck's sake.
