I wish I could share your optimism, but ive been a lifelong pessimist unfortunately. I always assume the worst because the worst is what tends to happen. I dont think itll be a war in the middle-east but a war which will be brought to our shores. Seems like drones and other robotic implements are the future of warfare. If not by foreign powers than our governments will use it on us to sow fear and resentment towards hostile nations which they will blame the attacks on. The best way to deal with a very unhappy population is to have them killed off anyhow.
