Feminism discussion thread

@Null can we impose DMZ on this thread, as it’s a spin off from the man-hate thread? It’s going to get tiresome and derail the discussion of a bunch of moids are bogarting the thread to drop MRA talking points like “muh SSI registration” “muh alimony and child support payments”, or “muh paper abortion”, and baselessly claim that feminists want “female supremacy”
This is not cool Marge. You shouldn't have to rely on the top janny in order to win arguments. If there is spam and idiocy, Jersh's underlings will remove it.
Also, it's quite the tell that you consider a thread on feminism a spin off from a thread about what's essentially androphobia. You have somebody that's a father to your child. Man hate, woman hate, just waste of time.
I am unwilling to aggressively moderate more threads. You guys have to start ignoring people.
This is the wae

I just don't want each new feminism thread to be a new battleground of men trying to derail the explicitly feminist thread to be about men, and how talking about women's rights threatens them and upsets them because of basic shit like wanting access to BC and early-term elective abortion.

Killing one's offspring is evil, sorry you don't want to hear it and are crying for a safespace from that. Quite the Christian, aren't you? A man-hating baby killer truly is the embodiment of Christian values, isn't it?

Sorry doofus but the actual discussion is a little more nuanced than that, which is why I’d like you to BTFO

Interesting coming from a woman who went to an Ivy league uni and bragged about converting and getting married to a wealthy heeb. So oppressed, amitite Idledilettante?

This is why I love Kiwi Farms. Great place for nuanced discussion. Keep up the good work guys :)
Mm, yeah. Love to repeatedly explain the same thing 12 times to 12 different male morons in 12 separate threads who all run off the same Sexist NPC Dialog Bank of Misogynist Talking Points

You’re overselling my academic record a little, and my spouse isn’t Heebish

And anyway, moids like you are deep fried angry that I have any of that. I have different guys in the Stan Fan Club who have wished me all sorts of sexist zingers that all boil down to “your independence and freedom disturb me.”

Killing one's offspring doesn't leave any room for nuance aside from very rare exceptions, namely to save the life of the mother.

Right to name calling huh, typical. You don't actually want any discussion, just an echo chamber. Whenever your flimsy views are challenged you scuttle back to ad hominem and disengage. Cope and seethe.

I have a position on this. It’s here:
Ooh, based.

I am. I'm Episcopalian.
And I don't love the big A; which is why I made sure I would never be in a position to need one. That said the most common indication for such a late term termination is stillbirth. (others would be diagnosis incompatible w life, or mom's going to die carrying the pregnancy.) I have no reasonable interest in another sister's medical misfourtune, and I don't want to dunk on women who just lost their babies for Internet Christendom points from men who can't, and will never really understand this.

More generally I have no will to impose on other women seeking an elective early-term abortion, either. I'd like it to be an absolute last resort, but that requires access to reliable, affordable BC. The Ethan Ralph special is just too common these days, and I have nothing to gain from forcing women to carry, bear, and care for the children of deadbeat dads.
See what I mean about derailing the discussion so it can be about you men and how feminism threatens and unnerves you? You don’t even bother looking to see if I’ve talked about this before demanding I explain myself again. Not because you care what I think but just as a discrediting tactic. That’s why I want you moid scum out of this thread.

I know you do, which is why I will happily disengage from talking to you. If you need someone to help jack you off while you talk about how women are so *evil* because you can’t make them have babies against their will, there’s at least two other threads that instantly come to mind (abortion containment thread and woman-hate thread.) take your ball and go play over there, please.

@Stan -- I want to ask a genuine question (not a trap or bogus). Would you be against abortion if the baby is going to be born healthy and alive? Like if the baby was to be birthed RIGHT THEN, he/she would be able to live as independently as any other healthy baby.

You must be more narcissistic than typical libtards to think I'm going to seek out your positions on topics you bring up instead of expecting you to actually engage like a normal person.

There's that Christian love shining through again.

It's a subject you brought up here, idiot. And nobody wants to make women have babies against their will, they want them to behave responsibly in society and not kill their offspring. If you think that's expecting too much of women then that's actually pretty misogynistic.

As to your position on abortion, you basically say you support it for "early" term abortion, which I assume is first trimester (unless you mean something else, like before there's a detectable heartbeat or some other arbitrary cutoff). You don't provide any rationale beyond you having no interest in protecting innocent life, so nothing compelling.

Let me tell you something Caroline; I can, and sometimes still do run with New York crowd an orbiter like yourself only dreams about, but I prefer not to have to put up with the absolutely vapid and superficial twats always hovering around so I just get together with a few friends on occasion and that's it.

Especially aspiring middle class twats that have earned absolutely nothing and have never suffered any true adversity that complain just how hard life is for a woman. Not a single individual among my friends does this, only social climbers who try to make themselves trendy and oh so very interesting in the hope of being invited to a party, someone's summer home or winter cabin. We just laugh at you and your kind. Now you're being laughed at in an internet gossip forum. Quite the accomplishment. Put it on your CV.

it's time to put them on ignore and move on. or take it to a mass debates thread.

I think there’s something controlling and perverse about making a woman carry a pregnancy she’s certain she doesn’t want, and that it positions unintended pregnancy as a woman’s punishment for having sex. That punitive and controlling vibe is more obvious if these men also oppose access to BC and LARC (long acting reversible contraception.) Men who want to restrict access to both BC and terminations are straight up gunning for some Handmaids Tale style paternalistic theocracy.

Pregnancy isn’t merely an imposition on your body, like an unwanted house guest in your abdomen that stays for around for nine months. It’s a psychological and physical and emotional experience that sticks with you for life. I have no desire to impose that ordeal on a woman who isn’t ready or can’t support additional kids.

Wtf is your problem, matey?
You can’t get fuck all right about my dox so you’re going to double down and pretend you get invited to parties in the city? And all of these rich and powerful friends of yours (which are totally real) are laughing over their martinis about how I can’t be feminist because you think I’m middle class?
:story:

BTFO, you’re so full of it. You can’t even get the basic shit like my education and economic class right, and you already have the cheat sheet 411 on me. And the seething, wow. Get out of this thread and get a counselor to help you with your resentment of successful women.

Me too.

There's no such thing as an unintended pregnancy outside of rape.

Men who want to restrict access to both BC and terminations are straight up gunning for some Handmaids Tale style paternalistic theocracy.
It's so cringe to see the Handmaid's tale meme used unironically. Real NPC moment lol

Then behave responsibly. Crazy, I know.

The great thing - or one do the great things - about letting threads like this exist is you get to see the completely deranged ideas some men have about their faux superiority on full display.

It makes one have little wonder why every now and again threads pop up from KF users complaining about women and their inability to get laid or have relationships with women.

I’d say it was from their lack of understanding what a woman and a relationship is: but really it stems from they do not even know what they are - and were never interested enough and too narcissistic to even ask themselves that question in the first place.

Pythagoras said: “Man know thyself; then thou shalt know the Universe and God.”

It is funny how they prove themselves wrong by being incapable of concealing their anger and fear of women.

Anyway, the reason these charmers can’t get dates is because no girl in her right mind is going to nod and smile as her date spins himself into a frenzy complaining about women, and God only made one shoe0nhead, and one pantsu_party, and tbh two was too many girls who can sit through these manchild copes without hurling.
