In the west the community is known for being filled with blacks that wanna act bad ass because they are good video game. There are tons of videos of the most weeb nerdy fgc people of all types trying to act badass because they can do a combo in a video game, and its just embarrassing.

First, there is always the inherent issue of esports that pops up in the FGC that isn't present in regular sports. For example lets say the MLB was to change a major rule and fuck over baseball. I can just go out with friends no issue. But with fighting games they balance the same way and change the game around for everyone. If MLB makes a dumb rule that fucks up the sport, it doesn't impact my ability to play it with friends. With esports this is a constant issue. Not even getting into how they rotate balance so new characters are always on stream (which is typical done in retard ways), rushing out the game to meet up with a esport televised timetable. If they shit out *NEW GAME* well guess what the majority of the community has to support it because its logistically supported the best out of any of the other options.

Second there is also the issue that the fgc and esports in general wanting to be a taken seriously like sport and get the befits it brings (viewers, money, etc.) without realizing there is the underbelly they would have to deal with as well. Taking dives for gambling, cheating, pro players doing shit outside the game (like beating gfs n shit). That they are in no way equipped to deal with. See below.

Third there is the video game side of the issue as well. As in smug as fuck cliques that control everything for dumb petty shit. Its known there is a higher up clique in the fgc that circlejerks and covers each others ass. Good example is seeing all the white knighting spooky has done in the past.

All of this is just the US, and Euro scene in the most bare bones overview sense too. This isn't even getting into the pozzed shit, all the thot grifters, and East Asia which has a bunch of skeletons as well. But the east asians issues are much less visible to foreigners due to the normal language/cultural barriers and in general the gooks flaunt their drama less as well. For example when one of the best Jap Third Strike players was found to have commited sexual and there accusations that it might have been covered up too, its hard to figure that out still).

I know its contentious in the FGC, but one of my personal favorites from /v/ browsing was when Smash fags were outed as unhygenic (archive).

Like any sport or hobby there are going to be people who take it too seriously and get swept up with being better than the rest. I can't think of the cow off the top of my head but he's into the DBZ fighting games and makes fanfics of his OC getting all the girls from the show, but he's notorious for leaving games he's about to lose because a lot of these games don't punish early leavers. Basically leaving early does not hurt your score or record the match as a loss so you'll see people with huge win rates that actually leave a majority of their games early.

Speaking of his Twitter, he would always post shit like "I hate myself, I want to die" over and over. Well, people noticed this, and Daigo Umehara, huge name in fighting games, decided to have him on his stream and start an initiative to help Kuroda by having people send in postcards with words of support, and later to have Kuroda walk around Tokyo and get as many hugs from strangers as possible. The hugs thing was probably half actually trying to help him, and half laughing at the autist. Once he got arrested, he basically got cancelled, and really hasn't been seen doing anything outside of his own stream. He said that he regrets playing fighting games so much, and views it as an enormous waste of time.

His dad was never in his life, and his mom was crazy. Like sitting by his bed while falling asleep and talking about how great it'll be when they kill themselves every night crazy. That basically led to him trying to spend as much time after school as he could at the arcade, which explains how he got so good. It also explains why his style was so different from everyone else's. He would play the most passive, yet technically perfect style out of anyone. He wasn't driven by a competitive drive to win, he was literally just trying to spend the most time possible playing on one quarter.

Other facts about my favorite pedophile Third Strike player: He always brought several bottles of water, as well as an umbrella with him to the arcade, regardless of it it was raining, to shield him from the sun while walking there. Despite being considered one of the best players, his tournament results were spotty, since his tournament nerves, and character selection, have always been pretty bad.

I'd love to see Mike, sperg that he is, do a Pissed Pablo and lawyer the fuck up, at least towards Beezul to set the record straight (if Beezul really is lying). But it seems more likely than not that he'll bend the knee, apologize, and maybe resign from the company. Even the small fighting game communities for either old series or small series are an autism vortex, for example I used to frequent VFDC about 8 years ago which is the English speaking site for Virtua Fighter and you have hood niggers acting tough for the most idiotic reasons, for example: I play the wrassler character while you play a girl so I'm more "legit", we both play the same character but you play him like a pussy while I play him like an aggressive chad. There are beefs between players that are honest-to-god 2 decades long at this point and which will only be properly resolved if one player dies, most likely of sickness or natural causes because the worst beefs are between guys who are too pussy to meet each other and settle the beef in the game

I repeat, there are beefs between players that have been going on for so long that their beef can vote and drive at this point if it were human.

EDIT: Oh yeah and I forgot, here in Yurop the only real communities which were of any note were the UK and France ones and just like the one in the US it was filled with hood niggers and in the case of France Muslims before becoming "woke". Usually teams now will only be sponsored by a single company and its a full time job which people burn out of quickly. The Aris thing is from a weird internet reality show that Capcom did to promote Street Fighter X Tekken, and when Aris was on the show, he made a bunch of pervy comments towards a girl there, Miranda AKA Super_Yan. Here's some really crappy footage someone recorded that has some of it on it.

Most of the Tekken drama that I know is from back in the day in Korea, where Tekken is huge. Basically Nin acted as a manager for some players, and embezzled sponsor money that was supposed to go to them. He also tried to act as gatekeeper by deciding who got to travel to overseas tournaments and who didn't. Here's a source.

Another, IMO funnier, episode of Tekken drama is when Kkokkoma tried to sue Knee for posting matches he recorded of Kkokkoma losing. They still don't like each other, but at least they're not suing each other anymore.

There's also tension between JDCR and Knee stemming from back in the day when Knee publicly accused JDCR of only ever playing on the P1 side of the cabinet, which is considered a dick move in Korea apparently. Here's more if you want to read about it.

His side of the story is that his ex was crazy, tried to take his house (and might have succeeded?), and actually did take his trophies from him, and during an argument he grabbed her wrist, left a bruise (maybe?), and he got arrested for something like domestic violence. He got found guilty and had to pay a fine, but I believe there was no jail time, so make of that what you will.

Meanwhile, all the SJWs tried their hardest to cancel him as soon as the allegations came out, and basically cut the guy zero slack even when the details came out, but it's really hard to cancel a guy that keeps winning stuff. He's continually placing in top 8s in Street Fighter, and won Samurai Showdown at Evo in 2019.

If you want to learn fighting games pick up Under Night InBirth.

Any version will do, they will teach you the Universal Commands like A,B,C,D and how the Direction buttons translate into numbers(i.e. look at the numpad on your keyboard, 5 is the neutral position while 6 would be right and 8 would be up, and numbers like 3 and 9 are diagonal commands.)

basically it takes like a day or a weekend until shit becomes second nature, it's just that these guys do it for hours a day every day.
