Maximilian Dood has also said the forbidden n-word on stream, though I think most people brushed it off as a Freudian slip. It'll be interesting to see if any of the n-word detectives bring this up during the current cancellation wave.

Also, not specifically drama related, but Crowbcat has a nice compilation of trash talk, rage and salt that the FGC has been famous for the past decade or so. Features some notable cows such as LowTierGod, Sanford and Noel Brown.

Damn I meant to tell OP before the thread is moved but might as well just drop.

You should try looking into Richard Lewis. He isn't a cow (not to me at least) but the FGC has a MAJOR hard on against him. They've been on his shit for years because of the articles he wrote relating to their community. I think most (if not all) of his work is published here.
 
Tangentially related to the current MeToo: Didn't Justin Wong get sort-of cancelled for being a fat dude that stood to close to some girls at an event?

Something about this guy's response to that tweet rubs me the wrong way. I think it is the lack of concern that there is possibly a pedophile in their community but also the lack of concern for due process. Even if it's a pedo, you still want to investigate it just to make sure the claims are accurate. Because then you get dorks like this that want the name and will probably go on a holy crusade without any confirmation either way.

Anyway... FGC thread! Neat. There was a guy on YouTube named EventStatus that used to rail against FGC. Sadly I don't think he makes videos anymore.

Mike Watson hating Mr. Wizard is no secret and having this kind of dirt on him (but no evidence to support it) would definitely be a good reason to hate him.

I'm not going to say that Mr. Wizard is 100% absolutely guilty, but Watson has been alluding to Wizard having some real dark stuff hidden for quite some time and it's definitely Mr. Wizard he's referring to in that new tweet.

Whether we'll ever see any proper evidence or not is unclear, but Watson definitely didn't just throw this together to capitalise on the outrage mob. He's been gunning for Mr. Wizard for many years with these same accusations, though he's never made it entirely public.

Pokchop, the guy screaming in the Tekken portions of that video, is a stand up guy going by my few interactions with him and I hope no one tries to fuck with him. He’s also shorter than you’d think he’d be. I’m wondering who the Tekken community’s scapegoat is going to end up being now.

Personally I think the only big targets that you can go for are Markman and Rip.

Rumor has it that Marn made Guilty Gear measurably less popular in America by running tournaments so terribly. Floating friends and himself to have easier brackets, running late, letting his friends show up late, etc. I actually don't know too much about that part of FGC history, so if anyone could fill in the gaps I'd appreciate it.

According to the shitposters that used to fill the r/Kappa Discord, the rumors are true. Digging deeper on Marn would be good as well since someone else said that he ruins a lot of things. Another person said that obese people ruin everything. :story:

Oh, if we're talking Marn here's the classic regarding him. On an Excellent Adventures episode with Gootecks and Mike Ross, he snaked a woman away from her job to get her to start working for him instead and then after she's left her previous job he tries to force her to date him or he'd fire her. She refused so he fired her and she had to move back with her family because she couldn't afford rent anymore. This was while he was in Vietnam and apparently the woman really needed the money to support her family. When met with complete silence he tried to play it off as a joke, but given Marn's personality and how detailed he went with the whole story it seems likely to be true.

Not that I'm aware of, but they've both been in the community for well over 20 years so I'm sure they both have a lot of dirt on each other.
